Horehound (Marrubium)

its a medicinal herb that is usually treated as a weed.

and I'm no differant, but then again, it took me a few years to find out I could sell catnip rather than just add it to the Kosmic Kompost pile. So perhaps this lens will inspire me to make horehound lozenges, or who knows... :)

this pix - April 6, 2010, - there is a lot of very healthy horehound around the chicken dome.
it come back every year, it looks the same this year as it did then.
the chickens won't eat it, best I can do is cut it down now and then and feed it to the Kosmic Kompost Bin.
