Standard Medicine May Have IT ALL WRONG! The Underlying Condition For Hormone Imbalance-Menopause Deserves A Closer Look!

The position that the reason for all the menopause symptoms is due to an imbalance of hormones is a superficial perspective and deserves a deeper look. Menopause symptoms may include:

  • hot flashes
  • irregular periods
  • vaginal & urinary changes
  • sleep disturbances
  • feeling overwhelmed
  • weight gain
  • loss of desire
  • craving: sweet carbs, alcohol
  • minor to major depression
  • hair loss
  • ear ringing
  • headaches
  • bloating, nausea
  • worsening allergies
  • bone density loss
  • changes in breath & body odor

  • decreased fertility
  • night sweats
  • changes in appearance
  • fatigue
  • vaginal dryness
  • moods swings & irritability
  • constipation/diarrhea
  • anxiety/palpitations
  • memory problems & fuzzy thinking
  • fibroids
  • aching joints
  • changes in menstruation
  • changes in sexual desire or function
  • mood swings
  • hair loss/thinning
  • Skin changes

Are these symptoms tied to deficiency of hormones? It appears to be systemic. The whole body is suffering from top to bottom.

Underlying Cause Of Menopause

Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective: Menopause is considered a deficiency condition of the liver and qi (life force). When the blood and energy quality is weak and toxic then all of the organs are not able to perform their job. This condition causes the liver to overheat which rises through the body, wreaking havoc in its path. The heart, lungs, digestion, glands, throat, mouth & teeth, nose, eyes, ears, brain, skin and hair become heated and dried resulting in the symptoms, listed above. In addition, the liver does not filter the blood where it becomes sluggish and clotted.

Because the body is deficient of essential body energy and quality filtered blood, then the glands do not perform normally. Their secretions may be sporadic or non-releasing altogether. When the blood is filtered, normally, enriched then all the body's organs improve. Gradually, the energy comes back and they are able to function normally. The glandular functions, secrete once again, assisting the body in its healthy function.

The body is not absent of hormones. The blood is clogged like sludge. Glands are not receiving/transmitting essential messages, timely and/or minimally!

Then why do we add or give more hormones. Doesn't that risk an overload of hormones? Remember when you were a kid and your hormones were super revved. We don't want to risk going through that again. We have enough hormones. If we nourish our blood, exercise, sleep, manage stress, etc. our hormones come back and supports increased balance.

So if Chinese medicine knows the problem, then what is their answer to this to this deficiency? Look below.

What Restores Normal Hormone Function?

Chinese Medicine Has Had An Menopause Answer for this for More Than a Thousand Years!

Traditional Chinese Medicine has 20+ formulas for menopause. But which one is the best? This requires a seasoned Master herbalist to respond to this. While most women fall into 6 major constitution types such as:

  • cold
  • damp
  • deficient
  • hot
  • dry
  • excess

Most menopausal women benefit 95% of the time from Menopause Comfort. The exception is during the summertime. Some women, who are more hot than the usual population, require a colder formula, Paramalin, to offset the excess internal heat produced in the liver.

Additional Information on Menopause:

MYTH OF BLACK COHOSH

Menopause herbsBlack Cohosh is used to treat fever in Chinese Medicine not hot flash or surge of heat stemming from the liver overheating. Yet, Black Cohosh is touted as a base for alot of American herbal formulas. Many women who use will report that the benefit either wears off rapidly or there wasn't a benefit at all. The manufacturers seem to not listen, read or not comprehend the vast body of knowledge on herbs for this condition. There are better choices of Chinese herbs which have proven to be effective for hundreds of years on millions of patients. Most Chinese master herbalists understand that after millions of subjects there isn't much need to research what is obvious, tried and proven. Its appropriate to apply the RIGHT FORMULA to the right constitution and symptoms, not just the symptoms.

MENOPAUSE RELIEF! - A real solution rather than all the make-money quick formulas?

Menopause herbsWho Can You Trust To Buy Menopause
Herbs From?

I know what I have to say may sound arrogant but its time for a master herbalist to call this for what it is. Most of the menopause products are created based on 3 processes:
  • a single supplement/herb wonder
  • a combination of past researched supplements/herbs with an addition of the latest fad herb
  • in most cases a newbie manufacturer/distributer copies another company's product that is selling well
The result is that it is difficult for the consumer to determine what works.

So how do you know what works?

When you do not know the ins and outs of the herb supplement industry, it is not easy to discern what is going to be effective. Anybody can produce testimonials but long term repeatable, sustainable results are very challenging to produce. Even the research that is presented is not the full story but rather a spin on the research to move you to buy a particular product. In most cases, the manufacturer may truely believe they have a formula that will work based on misinformation on a herb's benefits.

Unknown to most customers, herb grade or quality of herb is just as important as the choice of herb. For instance, Red Panax ginseng, has, basically, 8 different grades of choice. Manufacturers will use a herb which is touted or is being hyped alot in their formulation to attact a purchase. But in the case of ginseng where lower grades are used the effect is not of value. Whereas, in the higher grades, you'll find the benefit. However, Top grade ginseng can go for $1000 an ounce which doesn't make sense to add to a formula. But 3rd grade ginseng though a little expensive, is very beneficial. Large manufacturers and beginning/novice (1-10 years in practice) herbalists may not be aware or not regard these aspects of herbal medicine. However, master herbalists that are sincerely interested in your well-being, with 10+ years of experience, do know and understand that this practice philosophy is essential to a customer/client's well-being and result.

MENOPAUSE COMFORT - A PROVEN FORMULA

Menopause herbsThe right herbs for menopause will primarily raise the body's energy and nourish the blood with a result of normalizing the body's thermostat. Indirectly, because the underlying imbalance is recalibrated, all the menopause symptoms listed under this syndrome will begin to dissapate within 2 hours if the correct formula is chosen. For myself, it still gives me a charge every time my clients remark on the relief they have been given. You might want to look at the ingredients or the menopause herbs I use in my formulas that work everyday.

Formula outcomes are very encouraging:

  • After 10-60 days on the formula, 38 cases (66%) were judged resolved. This was defined as complete disappearance of all symptoms with no recurrence within one year.
  • Eighteen cases (31%) were judged improved. This meant that their symptoms basically disappeared or markedly diminished.
  • Only two case (3%) experienced no effect, meaning that there was no improvement in their symptoms or their condition got worse. Thus the total amelioration rate was 97%.
