This is How Hornady Reloadings look
This is all about Hornady Reloading and what they can do for you. I have had Hornady reloading products for twenty five years and they still do good by me. You will never go far wrong sticking to the new lines of Hornady products. I have a lot that came with the first stuff I bought over twenty years ago. This is what the product reviews look like in case you are interested:
I say it is great for a novice, because that is what I am, and I had no problems with this press at all. I did a lot of research before buying, and looked at a lot of brands. The Lock n' Load system of the Hornady is what made me purchase their press. Being able to set the dies in the collets and then know they are going to be perfect the next time is a huge time saver and a confidence builder. I am a hobby machinist as well, so I know a little about precise machinery and close tolerances, and I am impressed that Hornady can build such a precise press at such a low price. One other standout is the depriming function when resizing the brass, the deprimer works great, and very accurately drops the spent primers in the small bin provided. I have not had to chase any primers around on the floor. The rest of the kit is just great also, with decent quality components for the beginning reloader. If you are starting out in this hobby, this is a great way to do it, and you can grow for quite a while before needing something more complex. The huge variety of dies from Hornady is also a huge plus.
Hornady Reloading

Hornady Reloading I have used hornady equipment every since I bought my first reloading manual twenty five years ago. I do not have a lot of the stuff now or I thought I didn't then I looked at my reloading bench and see the brand name all over the place. I guess sometimes we take to much for granted I was looking at the can of one shot and thought of the money that stuff saved me.
I was in a hunting camp in north eastern BC where it was raining steady most days and checking the rifles every time we got back to camp. I knew rust would be the problem so I got to thinking about what would work on the rifles and how the WD40 wasn't going to cut it here. The next day we went in to Dawson creek for supplies and stopped at the gun shop for something and I saw a can of One Shot and remembered how someone had told me it had a wax base and I asked.
The worker said it was a bit expensive for a rust protection but it should work and I still use it and recommend it . It is cheap when you think of a bluing job.
Hornady One Shot it does not make your gun look good but it does not ware off every time you look at it. In moose country you use what you can get because if its not raining just wait a few hours.
