Ghost Horror Novels Book List

Born in Ireland and living in Ohio, horror author, editor and actor Kealan Patrick Burke is the author of one of the most stunning ghost stories I've ever read. The Timmy Quinn Series.

Timmy sees dead people. They are the restless, angry ghosts of the murdered and they thirst for vengeance -- something they can only accomplish with Timmy's help. And he has to help, or they will take their rage out on him . . . and if they kill him, or if he were to take his own life, he would become one of them -- the wrathful ghosts.

There are currently three books in the series (a fourth is pending publication).

• The Turtle Boy -- Currently out of print, this novella won the 2004 Bram Stoker Award for Outstanding Achievement in Long Fiction.
  
• The Hides -- Also out of print, this novel was nominated for the 2005 Bram Stoker Award for Outstanding Achievement in a First Novel.
  
• Vessels -- Challenging to get.
  

They were published as limited edition runs by small presses that specialize in horror fiction. I paid around $150.00, over time, for all three.
