Horse Boarding in Michigan

We have several young horses available for sale. Some have been started under saddle and have show experience, the others are too young. We plan our show schedule within the "A" circuit Hunter/Jumper shows and USDF recognized Dressage shows traveling around Michigan as well as other states as necessary for the best exposure of the horse and rider. In the winter, we plan time for showing and training in Florida.

In addition to excellent training and showing, we offer clinics for Dressage, Hunter/Jumper, and Young Horses often, and host breed inspections for the ISR/Oldenburg NA. The environment at LWF Sport Horses is designed to accommodate serious riding and competition within the Hunter, Jumper, and Dressage disciplines.

Our schedule is published on our Events page and subscribers to our Newsletter and Facebook Fan Page are kept up to date on everything happening at the farm.

LWF Sport Horses offers breeding to our Dutch Warmblood stallion Patrick as well as mare and foal care, foal raising, and starting and training young horses.

FOALING SERVICES:

$350.00-monitoring and preparing mare for foaling, attending and assisting with foaling as needed, care and monitoring of newborn foal as needed to insure that nursing, bonding, etc. have been established.

$150.00-for stall during last month of pregnancy. This is a monthly fee added to the pasture board and will be pro-rated based on the actual number of days the stall is used.

$250.00-for stall for mare and foal. This is a monthly fee added to the pasture board and will be pro-rated based on the actual number of days the stall is used

TRAINING AND STARTING YOUNG HORSES

$50.00-one time fee for basic haltering, standing and leading of a weanling. Additional will be charged for older horses that do not demonstrate these skills based on age and temperament.

$20.00-per 15 minute session of in-hand preparation for breed shows and inspections,
basic ground work and grooming.

$25.00-per run or class at breed shows and inspections.

$35.00-per 15 minute session starting under saddle.

$40.00-per 30 minute session exercising young horse already going under saddle or free jumping.

$40.00-per 45 minute session-beginner rider on our horse.
