My eight year old daughter really wants a horse. She talks constantly about getting a horse, and as much as I like to help my daughter in life, there's no way she's getting a real horse at this time as we don't have the money or the location for a horse. It's a bit of a compromise that I find online horse games for her to play. She seems to get just as much enjoyment out of picking a virtual pony to raise, train, breed and care for. On horse isle she can also interact with other pony lovers. Their interaction is moderated, but I still supervise my daughter when she's online, just so I know what she encounters on her horse lover adventures. This lens will point you to the Horseisle online game, offer a discussion for parents about the benefits and drawbacks of keeping a real horse, and caring for a virtual horse online, and will also present links, gifts, and other items related to little girls and their love for horses both virtual and real. Horse isle the game has different membership options, one can play for free or purchase a monthly subscription to receive added gaming perks, for $5 per month. So far, my daughter and I are happy with the free version. All things considered, $5 per month is cheaper than keeping a real horse.

- A very good subject Darcie. It's like I said earlier, I wish there had been virtual horses when my girls were kids. Man, did they ever follow me around the house wanting to know why they couldn't have horses to ride. My oldest girl even wanted a horse and a unicorn, how about that?
