Horseracing systems, methods & trends

The aim of this lens is to show you how to win money from the bookmakers & Betfair traders by using horseracing systems, stats & trends to pick out the best bets.

I am constantly reading new racing books in order to get new ideas and methods & when I do, they will be posted here so dont forget to bookmark this lens and visit often.

Don't forget to check out my main website www.horse-racing-systems-uk.com

It is totally FREE and is full of profitable systems, methods & information.

Now onto the methods..........

Copy the best - method

Profiting from the best Free tipsters

The 'Copy the best' method is the best method for people who are completely new to horse racing.

It involves finding Profitable tipsters & following the selections that they pick.

There are many tipster competitions online such as the online betting guide & tipster challenge but my favourite is Sports-punter.com.

It also pays to follow pricewise once he hits form (though he can have long losing runs).

Another great tipster is the Daily mirror's value scope. Value scope operates on the same principles as pricewise and usually tips on Saturday's big race.

It has had some big winners this summer and is over 200 points in profit over the last 2 years - not bad for the cost of a Newspaper.

Betfair Trading - Methods

How to successfully trade on Betfair

Betfair Trading essentially involves baccking a Horse at one price ant then betting against (laying) the horse at a lower price.

If you are not too sure how Betfair trading works, it is explained more thoroughly on my main website (see links section below).

The Favourite Method

As the name implies, this method involves trading on favourites.

The aim of this method is to find a favourite that is expected to be well backed, bet it at price x and lay it at a lower price for the same stake as our back stake.

If the horse wins (& certain classes of favourites win around 50% of the time), we win on our original bet & lose on our lay bet. The proift we make is dependent on the difference in the back price & the lay price.

How to find horses whose price is expected to contract (Steam)

1 - log onto an odds comparison site such as oddschecker.com at 9.30 a.m and check out the steamers section. If you are quick, you can see the horses that the bookmakers are cutting the prices on before the price reductions are reflected on the betfair market.

2 - log onto the racing post website & check out the level of tips that each horse has got. Ahorse tipped by every tipster is likely to be more well backed than a horse in a race that tipsters think is more open.

3 - Add up the back and lay columns on Betfair (ie all the back columns in view & all the lay columns in view). If there is £100,000 in the lay column & only £1000 in he back column, it is obvious that the price is going to conntract because there are 100 times more people looking to back the horse compared to those wishing to bet against it.

As mentioned above this is just a quick intro into trading. There are more trading methods, racing systems and horseracing info on my website.
