Web hosting reviews - Introduction

This is my one stop guide to get you started in the world of hosting. I will generally focus more on quality rather than quantity. I.e. I have been a webmaster and web designer for about 8 years now. During that time I tested several web hosting providers. To share my experiences with you I have created this web hosting review lens and to promote my new web hosting reviews site where you can read my detailed reports.

I´ve been a customer of Bluehost, Lunarpages and Hostgator. Before I review a host I consult my fellow web designer friends, search the biggest forums like sitepoint, webhostingtalk, hostingdiscussions, and digitalpoint. In addition to that I usually check out the user forums for complaints about the respective web hosts. Those web hosts who have an absolute rock solid reputation for customer care, support, and reliability make it on my list.
