This Hot Fudge Sauce Recipe Is the Secret Ingredient to Making the Ultimate Hot Fudge Sundae

Ranked #9,301 in Food & Cooking, #168,818 overall

I Hope You Agree, This Is The Best Hot Fudge Sauce Recipe

This simple hot fudge sauce recipe will turn an ordinary dish of ice cream into a gourmet delicacy. And it takes only about 10 minutes, which is not much longer than it would take to heat up a commercially prepared sauce. Just thinking about this recipe and my mouth is watering. My mind is off with the fairies, and racing through the pantry to be sure I have some lucious dark chocolate and a can of evaporated milk (I always have butter and sugar, so no worries there).

Back to reality for a moment. Read on, and you will find everything you need to be the hit of the party - or just to have a quiet treat all to yourself. I hope you enjoy this hot fudge sauce recipe as much as I do!

Follow the Steps Here - Hot Fudge Sauce Recipe

  1. Break up the chocolate into small pieces.
  2. Put all ingredients in a double boiler over a low heat.
  3. Stir constantly allowing butter and chocolate melt, but do not allow the water or sauce to come to a boil.
  4. Continue stirring continuously until the sauce has the thickness resembling a pudding.
  5. Let cool slightly, and serve over ice cream (or any other treat that would be better with hot fudge sauce!)

Dare I ask?

Ok, so we all know that I think the best thing to do after making this hot fudge recipe is to pour it over ice-cream, add a bit of whipping cream and a cherry - yummy! The perfect dessert, snack or even breakfast (not really, but it could be fun once in a while). But what do you like to do with your hot fudge.

Responses here will be monitored - and hopefully I don't need to remind you, but just in-case, this is a recipe page and I am a family friendly writer. So only G rated responses please. Here is an idea:

Hot fudge is pretty much an essential, though sometimes I'll use it cold if it's too hot out (turns the ice cream into soup).
