The first thing you notice with this remote control car is its speed and agility. Most remote controlled cars of this size are not very responsive and don't handle very well in turns. This particular racing car works best indoors and on hard surfaces. The racer does have a shorter infrared range than most remote controlled cars so you will want to stay fairly close to the car when driving it.

Each car has several channels and when racing against a friend, you will want to make sure that each car is set to a different channel. If not, you could end up controlling each other's car! It's easy to set up the cars for duel racing. Just flip the cars over and set one car to channel 3 while setting the other car's channel to 4. Since it uses infrared there is a slight possibility that your TV remote may interfere with the reception of your car's transmitter. One really nice feature is the battery saving capability of the Hot Wheels RC Stealth Rides Racing Car. If the transmitter and car sit idle for very long, it will automatically shut off saving precious batter life.

In the box, you have the Hot Wheels RC Stealth Rides Racing Car, 3 AG13 (LF44) batteries, and additional (3) AG13 (LF44) batteries, and a detailed user guide. The car also comes with power tread tires so you can drive over obstacles.
