Fast Find a Hotel
Ever needed to find a hotel fast? This lens shows you how.
Have you ever had to go to somewhere and stay at a hotel but you have no idea what's available?
Imagine this scenario, you have to go to an event in Philadelphia, NY (not Pennsylvania). You don't know the area and don't know anybody around there. So what do you do?
If you check out this Web 2.0 Web Site, www.hotelbymap.com, you'll can find the right hotel in seconds. You'll be able to see every hotel on a map in and around the Philadephia, NY in under 20 seconds. You'll see all 0 through 5 star hotels on a map (AAA Ratings) and be able to hover over the pushpins to see what the rates are and what the amenities of the hotel are. You can zoom in by rolling the mouse wheel or zoom out by rolling the mouse wheel the other way.
You can also click down on the map and drag it left, right, up or down.
If you like what you see, you can click on availability and instantly book and confirm the hotel. It's that simple and the way all hotel web sites should work.
All you need to know is the name of the city (just type the first few characters of the city name) or the zip code. It's got every zip and city and town in the United States.
Try it out. It you ever have to book hotels in towns you've never been to, you'll probably say to your self, why didn't I think of this? It's that cool.

Excellent, that would be very handy to use. Nothing worse than not knowing what facilities a hotel has before you get there. Posted May 13, 2008 |

How cool is this! I just used it to find a great hotel in Los Angeles for next month. Why hasn't anyone done this before? Posted May 13, 2008 |
