If you have a bright room with lots of natural light have no fear, the LG's matte screen and 2,000,000 (that's 2 million) contrast ratio lets you see it all in full glory. Only problems related are sound syncing due to satellite dish and cable feeds, however the correct HDMI cable will fix that (see the accessories section). Remember cable and satellite can only deliver 720p or 1080i resolution and ONLY a Blu-Ray Player will give you true 1080p. So buy this LED TV and enjoy!

VIZIO is know for being the least expensive on the market, however that doesn't mean it's not worthy, not by a long shot. The VIZIO VF551XVT LED TV has all the goodies including 240hz, 1080p, local dimming (it adjusts itself according to the light int he room), etc.

Although this version currently does not have internet streaming capability it does however have the guts for a super razor sharp picture and deafening sound. And it may not be the "thinnest" of the bunch, but if you want full HD and be able to watch sports without any blur effect, this VIZIO is a winner. I will nickname it the "poor man's LED TV" only because your wallet will thank you after you purchase this great TV.

Buying online is great, especially with Amazon as they offer FREE shipping on most products and depending on where you live sales tax may not be a factor. Having said that, the cost of these LED TV's could be a huge savings not to mention the prices are just as competitive as retail outlets. And you don't have to try and fit that big box in your car or rent a truck or pay an Arm and a Leg to have it delivered to your home and the shipping services treat their boxes like gold as I have always received my packages virtually unscathed.
