Carla Carter better known by her stage name Kobe Tai is a pornographic actor of Taiwanese and Japanese heritage. She was in born Taipei, Taiwan on January 15, 1972. When she was just five months old she was adopted by an American family in Arkansas due to which she has dual nationality.

Tai got her first break in porn industry in 1996 under the names Brooke Young and Blake Young. Later on, she assumed the name Kobe Tai. She was the first Asian girl to have signed for Vivid Entertainment as a contract girl.
