Rossi was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. Her modelling career began when she was just 15 years old, and by the time she was 17 she had travelled to locales like Japan. Soon after, she modelled in Europe, a place she described as "romantic."
In 2002, Rossi returned from a break from modelling. Upo her return she entered the mainstream modelling field, but in 2006 she was hand-selected by porn legend Jenna Jameson, who predicted big things for Rossi in the adult entertainment business.
In February of that year, Rossi was signed to Club Jenna. Since then, although she has only appeared in a couple of pornographic films, she has received widespread fame in the industry.
Sophia is a single mother of two girls.
