Potty training wasn't the first thing I thought of when I got our new dog. It should have been!

Dogs are like babies, they eat, they play, and they poop. This mess puts a wet blanket on the joy of a new pet. Because unlike a baby with a diaper to contain the poop; a dog leaves it as a smelly present on the carpet. So, like millions do each day, I Googled it.

And, as millions are, I was overwhelmed with information about house training dogs. I started with the freebies. I read and applied but, you guessed it. My dog kept pooping on the carpet. Well it looks like I didn't find the right information. My dog was either defiant or I was a bad teacher because he just could not understand.



I began to think it was time to take this dog back to the pound, he must be defective. It looked like he was always going to fail the potty training I could give him. Well I decided to Google it one more time, after all he was so cute.
