Puppy Potty Training And Complete House Manners In 7 Days Or Less!
To pee or not to pee....and time is of the essence!

It is important to remember that at first your puppy will not have complete control of his bowels until he is a couple of months of age. In other words....when you gotta go...you gotta go! So make sure you supervise accordingly. Your puppy isn't being a bad dog if an accident should occur...he just needs to go.
A second quick tip is that dogs are totally creatures of habit and they really do prefer going in the same places if possible. Now! Time to take advantage of that bit on knowledge.
Pick a potty spot near the door, and always take your new friend to that same spot using a leash. Take him out for a little walk or some exercise only after he has done his business. If you must clean up an accident in the house, remember to take the soiled paper towels and put them in the potty spot. The smell will get your puppy to recognize the area as the correct place he is supposed to do the business. While your puppy is going, reinforce him with the command "go potty," that you can eventually use before he eliminates to remind him what to do. Once you have reached that plateau you can them even get him to understand which business to do by using "go pee" or "go poo poo" so that if he decides to do only one or the other...and you know he isn't done, you can coach him into understanding that he isn't quite finished.
