Are you at a crossroads?
Maybe you are experiencing a phase of dissatisfaction in staying at home. Maybe you are bored or frustrated. Maybe you are overwhelmed, or maybe you're just experiencing Cabin Fever. Maybe you're feeling guilty on the job about leaving your children at daycare all day. Your present circumstances can be an effective and important time for reflection. Let's look at the benefits and reasons for staying home and weigh them against the benefits and reasons for working outside the home.

Realize you have a choice.
"The Basics" here is that you have a choice. You may feel trapped, like you don't have a choice, but you always have a choice. Housekeeping may fall behind if you work, but you have a choice. Money may be super-tight if you stay home, but you have a choice. You may be bored or overwhelmed if you stay home with the kids, but you may be bored or overwhelmed if you get a job. What's a woman to do?
Try to get some perspective on the situation. You can do this by speaking to some people you trust. It will also help to make some lists as discussed below, and pray about the choices you have. You will soon make sense of it all.

Any Goal is Achievable
Just break it down into small steps.
Life Is Short. Let Every Minute Count.
Put it in Writing
Now, figure out what steps are required for each goal and WRITE THEM DOWN. This may seem a little tedious, but writing it down will help to make it real and purposeful in your mind. Break the steps down as much as possible.
For example: If I want to save up $10K in the next 10 years...I would write that down under "10 years", then I would naturally write $5K under "5 years", then I would figure and write that I need to save $1000 per year or $19.25 per week. Then start doing it.
Example #2: You say that you want to be a bank manager within 5 years. Figure out what education you need and how long that will take and how to pay for it. Divide it by 10 to see what you need to have accomplished within the next 6 months...maybe the first step is research and apply to colleges and financial aid by 6 months. Month 1 is research, month 2 is applying to schools, month 3 is finding financial resources, month 4 is finding childcare, etc. Break it down.
