How can i lose 10 pounds, is a question that is commonly asked amongst people who are fed up with their body and who are determined to get a figure that is acceptable to society and one which they can be proud of themselves.
Over 60% of the developed world's population is overweight, and with the increasing popularity of tv, the internet, and fast foods there is no doubt that this number will increase in the forthcoming years.
Furthermore over half a million people die every year due to weight related issues, whether it be a heart attack or liver cancer.
Either way it is clear that people who are obese or overweight have less chance of living a longer and healthy life.
Of course losing weight is all down to YOU. If you don't possess the desire to succeed that you will never be able to accomplish anything to a degree that you are happy with. It may sound harsh, but you really need to hear this. Some people find in their obesity and in their over weight bodies a sense of comforting failure. If you are one those people then I can't help you.

Exercise is one of the best ways to shed those pounds. You should aim for at least 30 mins of physical activity a day. If that sounds a bit much, then start at 10 mins a day and slowly work your way up.With exercise you are keeping your metabolism constant. Why is this important and what is metabolism? In short metabolism is the sum of all the chemical reactions in the body. It means you are able to burn calories quicker, which is the be all and end all of weight loss.
So in conclusion,get on that treadmill or bicycle and start exercising!

Water Intake is extremely vital in losing weight. Substituting soft drinks,coffee and tea for the elixir of life will cut back on your calorie intake dramatically. It also alleviates problems with bloating and water weight.Water keeps you hydrated, so aim for three pints of water daily, evenly spaced out. This prevents you from becoming thirsty, which can be mistaken for hunger, which can lead to binge -eating and then you guessed it END OF DIET.
Water has also been shown in studies to maintain ''wellness'' and to keep people focused and motivated when on a diet.

Eat plenty of whole grain foods. Being full of fibre and low in calories you feel ''fuller'' after less.This is brilliant as it allows you to exercise and develop the skill of portion control Snacking
