The Perfect Peanut Butter Cookie

Do you avoid peanut butter cookies like I USED to? I love peanut butter but I like soft peanut butter desserts. I'll usually go for the peanut butter bars or other peanut butter topped cookies. Peanut butter cookies tend to be crunchy and dry. This did not fit my standard. I love peanut butter, but to me cookies are supposed to be soft. I inadvertently avoided peanut butter cookies because I knew they would be hard. I finally got tired of avoiding one of my favorites and tried to develop a soft cookie. After much time and trials I did it! And they taste delicious! I wish I could hand you one through the computer screen.

Chloe's Cookie Corner

An Online Cookie Company

Chloe's Cookie Corner strives to create a high quality product of both taste and components in our home made cookies. I have been cooking and baking for years and love it so much I turned it into a business. Each of my recipes makes soft cookies that everyone enjoys, including peanut butter cookies.

The name of the cookie is what you can expect for a flavor explosion in your mouth. Each individual recipe is worked and tweaked and not presented on the website until they are perfected to ensure the best cookie recipes for our patrons. Every recipe is tested and the cookies from scratch place a quality on the name of the company.

We also strive to use good ingredients in each cookie recipe such as home made brown sugar, sauces, toppings, fillings and fresh fruit to develop the best cookies you would only expect from a cookie store. Many from scratch cookies are offered and currently there are about 40 flavors to choose from.

You can order cookies online for yourself, for a party, for your business or you can send cookies to a loved one who is sick, lonely or away at college. You are only limited by your imagination with what you can do with us. There are many choices we have to offer as gift ideas for your loved ones or possibly, your clients. There are more than cookies to be offered as a dessert, we offer gourmet breads and cakes as desserts for your guests when you want to shake it up a little. All of my dessert recipes are from scratch too and you can taste a difference.

Since I have been displeased with the quality of cookies in my area I started a bakery online to provide a service for people who don't have the time to bake gourmet desserts but still want to wow their guests with home made cookies using my recipes from scratch. I hope you enjoy what you see and that I have inspired you to go for the best cookie recipe and realize it doesn't always have to be overboard expensive.

The Signature Cookie

Peanut Butter Surprise Cookies

The signature cookie for Chloe's Cookie Corner is the peanut butter cookie. It started 7 years ago when I finally got tired of crunchy peanut butter cookies and took matters into my own hands. I used a lot of supplies and a lot of money. I spent a great deal of time and almost 20 variations went by before I finally felt like I was getting somewhere. I spent almost 2 years tweaking, failing and trying again until I created the ultimate peanut butter cookie. They are soft, sweet and bursting with rich peanut butter flavor. They also have chopped Reese's Mini folded right into the batter. You get that awesome peanut butter and chocolate combo in every bite. They became an instant favorite and jump started my ideas that eventually became Chloe's Cookie Corner.

Cookies are cookies, right? Not to me. When you eat a cookie, you look for a specific flavor, texture and softness. It is very common to get the perfect combination of these in a chocolate chip cookie, but peanut butter cookies have been eluding me for decades.

And The Fight Begins...

Peanut Butter SurpriseBefore I started getting ideas to bake cookies, and long before I started selling them, I made cookies for my co-workers for their birthdays or for Christmas. They started to become something that everyone looked forward to. I started making a huge platter for everyone for Christmas and it would empty the next day. That's almost 60 cookies for 8 people! There was one Christmas where I made everyone their own package of cookies and one wasn't enough. There was actually a situation where one co-worker tackled, YES, tackled another to steal his cookies from him! That's when I stopped making them for my co-workers. I would just make a small package to share with the ones who were working that night and get rid of the evidence for the next day.
I then started to make small packages for some of my commercial accounts and got phone calls thanking me. I started to get random phone calls from them asking for more cookies or when they were getting more cookies. I started to try new flavors and would send small sample packages to my commercial accounts. I was getting annoyed when my customers were calling to ask where they were and I found out my drivers were eating them instead of delivering them. Okay, this has to stop.
Once I started the business I would drop off sample bags to my customers on my days off. This worked much better and I would get feedback from them the next day. It started to work out great and I still hand out samples to those customers who have become cookie customers. See, you buy from me and you can get free stuff.
I occasionally post competitions on my Facebook page for my followers as well. There are always options to earn yourself free cookies. Just keep an eye out!

To Tackle or Not To Tackle?

Who won the cookie tackle?

The tackler, definitely! He obviously wanted those cookies bad enough!

The tacklee. He likes cookies too much and that's why he didn't run fast enough. He's had too many.

i always thought the recipe was less important in making them chewy as the baking time and temperature....over baking will make them dry every time. Great lens!

It certainly does, but changing up the ingredients also has a major difference. Thanks.
