Know Your Fertile Days Of The Month.

3 Ways of Predicting Your Fertile Days.

Over a period of a few months, usually about 3 months you need to keep a record of your menstrual cycle and know on which day(s) you are likely to ovulate in a month.

The purpose of this is to know when your ovary is likely to release an egg, which then needs to be fertilised within 24 hours.

Once you get to a point where you can pin point with great accuracy the day(s) you are likely to ovulate, you are half way there to getting pregnant.

There are several methods you can use to know the precise day in which you ovulate:

1. the Cervical Mucus Method (CM),

2. The Basal Body Temperature (BBT)

3. Use of ovulation kits.

the fact that i smoke and have a few drinks at the weekend. I am 33 years old and have a 17 year old and a 22 month old. I also lost my baby 19 weeks into the pregnancy last july. I had to give birth to my baby to which was still alive. I was advised that I would get an infection and me and baby could die due to me losing the fluid around her. This has given me such heart ache and has made me very sad. I had to arrange her funeral and see her tiny coffin which was the saddest thing ever. to now I am still breastfeeding my son and have a bit of a busy time with things. Please advise me as I am longing to have another baby now. I have been trying to become pregnant ever since this

Diary - Friend Or Foe?

Is Milk As Healthy As You Have Been To Believe?

Recent studies have found that in population where milk consumprion is highest, women tend to be have a reduced ability to have children than non-milk drinking women.

The culprilt appears to be lactose, a sugar found in milk that some people can't digest and which could damage human eggs.

The other issue has to do with the way dairy milk is produced and it's possible hormonal effect on your body at a time when your hormones need to be functioning normally.

If you must consume dairy, then make sure it is natural yogurt that contains lactobacillus acidophilus. These beneficial bacteria can help your body eliminate hormones it doesn't need.
