What is the EASIEST way to make money from home?
Honestly? It's probably a subjective answer...depending on what YOU do best. But I can tell you without any equivocation that the easiest way for ME is to write articles to sell products online. It can be MY products. It can be affiliate products. It really doesn't make a difference. Whenever I hit a cash crunch of ANY kind....I simply get my fingers busy on my keyboard, and start counting my cash.
Do I need to invest any money to make a profit with this approach? What is required?
Nothing, no. You may WANT a web site....but the truth is, it's not even necessary anymore. You can pick affiliate products that you already know and use around your OWN home, and simply sell those very items that you use, trust and enjoy. (doesn't get MUCH easier than that..:-)
What is the best way to find products to sell?
Join REAL affiliate networks. (not just the ones that specialize in digital downloads. As a matter of fact, I tend to avoid those for the most part) All reputable affiliate networks are FREE to join, and often represent some of the biggest international brands in the world. (very easy to sell for you!)
What about a web site or blog? Is that required?
No - NOT to make money. Some affiliate networks may want you to show them a live web site to approve you, but I often simply re-redirect MY visitors right to the affiliate vendor anyway. This only requires you use a root level re-direct on your own domain, or simply buy a cheap domain name (99 cents for a.info) and re-direct your visitor using a server side script instead. Very, very simple indeed!
The Verdict?
Times are tough and they are NOT going to get any easier anytime soon. But people are always buying stuff....and they will continue to buy more and more of that "stuff" online. Using the approach above will insulate you from workplace reliance and give you a GENUINE opportunity to make REAL money from home as well. (and you can start tonight)

And boy did I slave myself to making websites, blogs, etc.

But I confessed; if I knew the things I now know, I won't be making silly, unprofitable mistake back then.
But mistake was made and it was inevitable. I keep making mistakes like 'program hopping', and changing concept from Day 1. And I have too little money to show in the end.
And I end up looking for a new job. But the passion for making money online from the comfort of my home never die. I'm still looking.
And if my answer piss you of because there's no link to 'magic money making program', well, there's really no magic bullet. There's no band aids.
There are just hard work, research, develop marketing method that works, and rinse and repeat. I should have known. Been there, done that myself.
