How I made my first web page - starting with free web hosting

I tried a few of them and decided on one that suited me most, logged in and started.

There are free hosting plans with or without cPanel® or other control panels, hosting with advertisement or without advertisement, different amount of web space and so on.

When I had free web hosting, I registered with subdomain, simply because I didn't have a clue, how I can get a domain, and the price also suited me - it was free!

Later I found out that I can get free domain, for instance domain cz.cc.

I wanted to create a website with many various articles, which could eventually grow into thousand pages or more, so I was looking for something suitable that would made my job easier. I installed different scripts with Softaculus in cPanel® and tried one after another to find out what do they offer.

After several attempts, I decided for Joomla. On their website there is a lot of information (I still haven't read most of it), forums, ... There are also a lot of blogs about Joomla. So, mostly I got a lot of assistance online.
