How I Met Your Mother Music

When Lily and Marshall move out of the city, Barney declares himself the new leader of the gang, and the show's opening credits changed to "How I Met Your Barney," with a new theme song:

"Hey Beautiful" is the name of the HIMYM theme song, and no it's not really performed by the cast. But it IS really performed by the show's co-creators, Carter Bays and Craig Thomas, who along with Patrick Butler and C.C. DePhil make up the band, The Solids.

In protest of the high prices MacLarens is charging on New Year's Eve, Barney and Ted open their own bar called "Puzzles" in Ted's apartment, thus fulfilling a years-long dream. Just like Cheers, Puzzles has its own theme song.

"A Daughter's Lament" is sung from the point of view of Ted's daughter, who's sat through 6 seasons of her father's stories about how he met her mother. "This is so not Raven, much less legendary."

Ted finally gets a solo! He explains to Barney how to plan a Superdate, Broadway Musical style. 17 dates worth of romance wrapped up into one incredible night!
