I'm sure you are! Every skater had to start at the beginning. Skateboarding is not a trait passed down through your family. You have to learn how to skateboard, and only with practice can you then ride with the best of them.

Like you, I have looked up "trick tip" videos and had friends (and even acquaintances) try to teach me how to execute a trick properly! Most of the time it didn't help me get any better... and it took me months to actually land the trick I was working on. It would then take me a while longer to land it a second time! Some of the tricks I can easily do now took me over a year to land consistently! Now I land my better tricks almost every time, my confidence in myself as a skateboarder has gone up and I'm not so embarrassed to try harder tricks in public anymore!

I bet your wondering HOW? Well, it's simple really. It took hard work and practice, but it also took learning the best ways to execute the trick so that I would have a better chance of being able to land it more often!
