How To Be A Lucky Person?

If everybody is LUCKY then everybody is a WINNER...!!

LUCK, believe it or not, have a tremendous influence in our life. In many culture, luck even considered to be one of the forces of nature, the one that influence the stream of human life itself. To be a lucky person is truly a major benefit.

Some people believes that luck is just some random coincidence, just a fluke, an unimportant element. That you need to work as hard as you can if you want to achieve something. Others, believes that luck is the most important thing in their life, an irreplaceable element, a thin line between winning or losing.

Me...???

I believe both statements are correct and wrong at the same time. I believe that luck is important in my life, so many good things happened to me just because of pure luck. Coincidence..? Maybe!

On the other hand, I also believe that if you want to achieve something in life, you gotta do something about it. You cannot just sit at home and watch TV, then suddenly your dream just knocking at your front door. In some very very very rare case... it could happen. But I wouldn't bet on it, and neither should you.

Luck is very important indeed... but we cannot just depend our life on it... action and effort are just as important...

Important!

Description Of Luck

(from Wikipedia)

Luck or fortuity is good or bad fortune in life caused by accident or chance, and attributed by some to reasons of faith or superstition, which happens beyond a person's control.

Cultural views of luck vary from perceiving luck as a matter of random chance to attributing to luck explanations of faith or superstition. For example, the Romans believed in the embodiment of luck as the goddess Fortuna, while the atheist and philosopher Daniel Dennett believes that "luck is mere luck" rather than a property of a person or thing.

Lucky symbols are popular worldwide and take many forms.

The English noun luck appears comparatively late, during the 1480s, as a loan from Low German (Dutch or Frisian) luk, a short form of gelucke (Middle High German gelücke). It likely entered English as a gambling term, and the context of gambling remains detectable in the word's connotations; luck is a way of understanding a personal chance event. Luck has three aspects which make it distinct from chance or probability.

* Luck is good or bad.
* Luck is by accident or chance.
* Luck applies to a person.

Some examples of luck:

* You win repeatedly at gambling, against significant odds.
* You correctly guess an answer in a quiz which you didn't know.
* Your car breaking down could be bad luck, if it was by chance and against the odds.

Before the adoption of luck at the end of the Middle Ages, Old English and Middle English expressed the notion of "good fortune" with the word speed (Middle English spede, Old English sped); speed besides "good fortune" had the wider meaning of "prosperity, profit, abundance"; it is not associated with the notion of probability or chance but rather with that of fate or divine help; a bestower of success can also be called speed, as in "Christ be our speed" (William Robertson, Phraseologia generalis, 1693).

The notion of probability was expressed by the Latin loanword chance, adopted in Middle English from the late 13th century, literally describing an outcome as a "falling" (as it were of dice), via Old French cheance from Late Latin cadentia "falling". Fortuna, the Roman goddess of fate or luck, was popular as an allegory in medieval times, and even though it was not strictly reconcilable with Christian theology, it became popular in learned circles of the High Middle Ages to portray her as a servant of God in distributing success or failure in a characteristically "fickle" or unpredictable way, thus introducing the notion of chance or randomness.

3 ASPECTS OF LUCK

The 3 Aspects of Luck:
1. The Celestial Luck
2. The Earth Luck
3. The Mortal Luck

"Talent is GOD-given, be humble... Fame is man-given, be grateful... Conceit is self-given, be careful..."

The CELESTIAL LUCK - GOD Given

A lucky person has only to be born...

As a human being, we were connected to the Higher Power, to the Infinite Power of the universe.

This aspect of luck supports the above statement. The Celestial Luck was given to us by GOD. We are born with it. It is the single present that GOD gives to all his creation, that includes us.

Some people calls it "Destiny". Some religion calls it "Karma" that connects strongly with the life after death and reincarnation.

It is the one thing that we, as a mortal being, don't have any direct control over.

The EARTH LUCK - Outer World

Attract luck and be a lucky person

The main point of this aspect is our own environment.

Where we live and where we position ourselves in the environment determines our success in life to a degree.

Our environment has a very big influence to our direction and quality of life, although indirectly. For example, when we're in a room full of clutter and unorganized things, we tend to feel lazy, annoyed, sometimes even anger... and when we're in a tidy and clean room with organized things, we tend to feel refreshed, energized, even happy.

The most effective way to change the Earth Luck is through Fengshui.

So what is Fengshui?
It is an ancient Chinese system of aesthetics believed to use the laws of both Heaven (astronomy) and Earth (geography) to help one improves life by receiving positive energy (chi) from the universe. A more skeptical view of Fengshui is that it was just an ancient science of architecture and interior design.

By optimizing your living quarter using Fengshui and good luck symbols, you are indirectly encourage your life towards a more meaningful one. With the right adjustment of your interior and decoration in your place, not only luck, it can also attracts wealth, love, health, opportunities... you named it.

You can start with the most simple thing. Clean your place!

The MORTAL LUCK - Inner World

Make your own luck...

This aspect is all about ourselves as a human being. Our gift, knowledge, talent, our heart, mind and body. They all have an essential part in relation with our luck and good fortune.

Why...!?
Because we as a human being were governed by our heart and mind. Whatever we believe will become our reality, especially if emotion plays a big role in it. That's why when we love or hate someone, we do things out of the ordinary... crazy things!!

"Emotion beats logic any day of the week."

After we know about it, it becomes clearer isn't it? All we have to do is controlling our own believe and feeling. Think and be positive, optimist, happy, have an abundance mentality, etc.

OK...!!! I will stop here because I know that some of you might think that it was easier said than done.

Well, you are absolutely right! Some people might be able to change how they think and feel so easily. Snap! Just like that!
But for a lot of us, actually the major of us, we have a hard time doing just that. The more we struggle, the harder it becomes.

Luckily, I have a very simple and easy solution. You don't have to tried so hard to change your way of thinking and feeling, they just changed on their own.

One thing to keep in mind. Despite a very simple and easy solution, this is not an overnight change. It does require time and a little effort.

So, what is this awesome solution??

"You cannot soar like an eagle if you walk with the duck..."

Yesss...!!! That's right! Who you choose to be around you, determines who you are. If you hangs around people who are excellent, you'll become excellent yourself. But if you hang around people who are negative, you will only drag yourself down to the lowest level possible.

So choose carefully the people that you'll spend your major time with. Choose the people that you want to become, your role model, your idol. Choose successful people, happy and positive people, also choose lucky people especially. There's just something about lucky people... the more you hangs around them, the more luck that seems to rub on you. Very convenient right!? =p

I'm not saying that you should stop being friends with your old buddies, just limit the time.

Out of all the three, I think this is the most important aspect of luck. Why?
Because it's the one thing that you can fully control.

Oh yeah... I almost forgot. There's one more thing in the equation to be a lucky person.

ACTION!

You cannot achieve your goals in life with only luck. You need to take the necessary action to create it. Trust me! The biggest luck in the world won't matter if you just become 'the fat dude on the big couch'.

Another unorthodox way is to use meditation to enter your mental state and learn to control your mind and emotion, but you will certainly need a competent teacher to guide you step by step from the initial level and through the whole process.

How To Win Friends And Influence People

by: Dale Carnegie

This is the single book that you absolutely must have in your bookshelf, and read it of course! =p

It contains all the essential things that you need to know, understand and master, when it comes to your relationship with someone in particular or people in general. This is the book that will let you gain more friends, influence people the right way, and manage your own social life.

How To Win Friends and Influence People

This grandfather of all people-skills books was first published in 1937. It was an overnight hit, eventually selling 15 million copies. How to Win Friends and Influence People is just as useful today as it was when it was first published, because Dale Carnegie had an understanding of human nature that will never be outdated. Financial success, Carnegie believed, is due 15 percent to professional knowledge and 85 percent to "the ability to express ideas, to assume leadership, and to arouse enthusiasm among people." He teaches these skills through underlying principles of dealing with people so that they feel important and appreciated. He also emphasizes fundamental techniques for handling people without making them feel manipulated. Carnegie says you can make someone want to do what you want them to by seeing the situation from the other person's point of view and "arousing in the other person an eager want." You learn how to make people like you, win people over to your way of thinking, and change people without causing offense or arousing resentment. For instance, "let the other person feel that the idea is his or hers," and "talk about your own mistakes before criticizing the other person." Carnegie illustrates his points with anecdotes of historical figures, leaders of the business world, and everyday folks. --Joan Price --This text refers to the Mass Market Paperback edition.

The BIG Answers To All The BIG Questions

Now that you know and understand the three aspects of luck, you can begin to change and improve your luck to be a lucky person. Which in turn will also improve your quality of life.

So, where do I start?

Well... that is a very good question my friend.

I suggest the very first thing that you should do is to focus on the Earth Luck. Start by cleaning and organizing your own place. Separate all the things that you won't be using anymore. This includes your old clothes that you won't be wearing anymore, your old TV, stuff like that... you get my point! Give it to charity or to the people who needs it. If you are willing to spend some money, you can improve the interior and decoration of your place with Fengshui. You can even do a minor improvement with only a few addition of good luck symbols in the decoration. A four-leaf clover, the calligraphy of luck (Fu), horseshoe, a dragon statue, a lucky cat... anything will do. Although it is much better if you choose the lucky symbols of your own culture.

Another application of the good luck symbols is to wear them as jewelries. Choose one symbol that you like the most, hold it in your hand, close your eyes, visualize that the symbol of your choice gives you a lot of luck. After you had finished, wear it confidently everywhere you are.

The second step would be the Mortal Luck. You can read books on psychology and self-motivation. Attending seminars and workshops are also a good move. But the one most important thing that you should do on becoming a lucky person is managing your own social life. Begin by choosing who you spend most of your time with.

Meditation is a good bet, but I highly recommend that you only do it if you have a competent teacher. If not, than you would be better off with the above suggestions.

Last but not least...

PRAY...!!
