The key ingredient to increasing your height is called: human growth hormone. 2. Drinking milk has been shown to help you grow taller, not because of the calcium intake (calcium has no affect on height), but because in America they inject different hormones into cows - this increase in hormone levels was not seen in other dairy products, only milk. Semi skimmed milk is the best option.

3. Resistance exercise (lifting weights) increases Growth Hormone (HGH). This is the most widely known method for improving growth hormone levels and is very effective. Extra muscle will also help you look more attractive.

4. Intense sprinting exercises also causes a burst of human growth hormone and also improve levels even while you are not exercising. In fact, any high intense/anaerobic exercise will help you become taller.

5. Niacin supplementation. Niacin is a natural vitamin called vitamin B3. in a study, people given roughly 500mg (about 5 pills) of niacin experienced massive increase in human growth hormone over two whole hours.

6. Lower your stress. Cortisol is produced during stress which hinders your chances of being tall. Vitamin C lowers cortisol, so if you get stressed a lot, consider taking vitamin C supplements. * The idea that masturbation affected height was probably used to frighten childen - masturbation does not directly affect your height, BUT it could possibly indirectly affect your height. This is no problem is you get an adequate amount of zinc and protein every day.

* The "shinbone routine" is a popular method for people who have finished their puberty and is harmful to your growth plate. In studies on animals, acts similar to "kicking with an ankle weight" stimulated the ossification of the growth plate because of the stress it taxes on the bones and growth plate cartilage. It is ineffective and dangerous!

* Caffeine can hinder your goal to be tall, but only if you get stressed out after drinking it. . Stressful situations result in a decrease of growth hormone, this is becuase the negative hormone called cortisol is produced which can prevent you from being taller. If you are regularly stressed then try to do an activity that is relaxing such as meditation.

Height Increasing Soles

A very convenient, quick way to achieve a height increase is to purchase 'height increasing soles' that you can place in any of your shoes whether it be for the workplace or a casual event. They raise your heels by 2-3 inches to make yourself appear taller and feel more confident. I originally purchased myself a pair of these soles and had noticable effects, the only disadvantage is that it is not a permanent way to achieve height.

    I wish I read this lens when I was younger. I wanted to be tall so when I was in my early teens , every new year, I have to jumped 10 times ( myth) lol just to increase my height. Still , short though ...

    I always wanted to be 5 feet tall and never made it ended up at 4'11 interesting info, I don't think their is any hope for me, bu the exercise and melatonin can't hurt
