How to blog on blogspot

You should consider many things before open a blog. What is your blogging aim? Most people will answer they are blogging for money. We cannot false people who blogging for money. There are some opportunities to get thousands dollar at there.
Ask yourself first before blogging:
1. Do you have time for writing, uploading, managing, and promoting your blog? Blogging needs time. If you are a busy man, you will be difficult to blogging.
2. What nice that you want write? Not all niches can make money.
3. Prepare some bucks. If you want get more money, you can spend money for buying domain or buying links.

As I told in preview paragraph, blogspot is not difficult. Here are the steps to make a blogspot.

1. Go to the blogger. You should have a Google account first. If you have no Google account, you can sign up first.

2. Click the" create a blog" button at the right top of page.

3. Create a name for your blog. You can write any name. I suggest you create a nice name that can attract the visitor.

4. Create the URL of your blog. Check the availability. If the other blog have taken the name, you should change the name.

5. Write the captcha correctly.

6. Choose the theme. Choose a simple theme first. You can change the theme later.

7. Click Finish. You can start blogging now or you can setup your blog now.

After creating a blog you need to set the blog. Here are the steps:
1.Login to your account. See in dashboard. Click setting tabs.
Below the setting tabs there are so many tabs, such as, Basic, Publishing, Formatting, Comments, Archiving, Site Feed, E-mail & Mobile, OpenID, Permissions.
2. Click Basic Tabs.
There are blog tools. You can Import Blog, Export, and delete the blog.
Write the title of your blog. You can change the title of your blog here
Description. Write the description of your blog max 500 characters.
Add your blog to our Listings? Select yes, your blog will display on blogger.com. If you want keep the blog private, you can choose No
Let Search Engine find your blogs? Select if you want your blog famous. On the other hand, If you does not want search engine find your blog, you can choose No.
Show Quick Editing on your blog? If you want to edit the blog from post you can select yes. There is a pencil icon at the end your blog post. You can click the pencil if you want edit the post. Of course, Other people who has not your password cannot edit your post.
Show Email Post Links? Below the blog post, we often see an envelope icon. The icon function is to send the article to our friend through e-mail. You can select yes if you want this icon.
Adult Content? If you write the adult content, you should select yes. The blogger will warn anyone who visit your blog.

Global Settings

Select the post editor. There are three options, such as, updated editor-check out the latest features, old editor, and compose mode.

Enable transliteration. You can choose disable or enabled. If you choose enable, the visitor can change the language of your blog and they can read your blog in their native language.

3. Click Publishing tabs. If you want change the domain, you can do at this section. Click custom domain and change with new domain. Write word verification and click SAVE SETTING button

4. Click Formatting tabs.
Show at most. How many most that you want display in main page. You can choose 7, 10, or 20. You can choose the post base on date. If days selected, the limit of post is 500 posts. I think there is no blogger who post 500 articles in a day.
Date Header Format. Select the date format that appears at the end of each post.
Archive Index date format. Select archive date format.
Timestamp format. Select the timestamp format that you like.
Timezone. Select the time zone that suitable with your hometown.
Language. What language that you use in the blog.
Convert line Breaks.
Show Title Field
Show Links Field
Enable float alignment
Post template
You can write text or HTML into the box. The text will appear on each post.
If you have finished, You can click SAVE SETTINGS button.

5. Go to Comments tab
This is very important. Blogging is a social activity, some people share the knowledge and some people comment at the blog. Unfortunately, some bad people spam your blog. Therefore, you should set the comment in blogging to prevent you from spam.
Comments. There are two option for comment: hide or show. Hide means you hide the comment without delete the existing comment.
Who can comments? There are four option such as, anyone, registered users, users with Google account, or only member of this blogs. I prefer registered users than others option because it can protect our blog from spam.

Comment form placement. There are three options, such as, full page, pop-up window, or embeded below post.

Comment default for posts. There are two options, such, new posts have comment, and new posts do not have comments.

Backlinks. We can show or hide backlinks.

Backlinks for default posts: There are two options such as new posts have backlinks or new posts do not have backlinks.

Comment timestap format: Select the timestamp that you like.

Comment form message. You can comment at this blog to the visitor who want comment such as Do not spam, Comment in English only, and others.

Comment moderation. You are better to moderate the comment to prevent you blog from spam. Select always option. There are other two options such as only older than ... days or never.

Show word verification. Before we comment at blogspot blog, the blog ask to type some word or number. It is a word verification to make sure whether the commenter is human or robot. Therefore, you should choose yes

Show profile images on comments? Select yes if you like.

Comment Notification Email. If you run a blog with more than one writer should use it. Enter up to ten e-mail so other writer can watch the comment.

6. Go to Archiving Tab

Archive frequency. You can select no archive, daily, weekly, and monthly.

Enable Post Pages?

7. Go to Site Feed Tab

Allow Blog Feeds. You can display full article on feed or short articles.

Post Feed redirects URL. Fill the URL of your feed. You can use feedburner URL. You should set up it first.

Post feed footer. This text appears each post in your post feed.

Email & Mobile.

Blog Send Address. It is important to share your new post. Blogger just able to send 10 e-mail.

8. Go to Posting Options
Email Posting Address use this e-mail to post your blog. You can also use mobile device

9. Click OpenID tab
You can use your URL blog as OpenID

10. Permissions
Blog Authors. This is a list of the blog author.
You can add 100 authors
Blog Readers. You are better to select anybody if you want your blog publish.

CLICK SAVE SETTINGS

11. See Design Tabs

You can add arrange the page element here. If you know HTML, you can change the template too. Now, blogger theme is good, you can select what themes that you like.

12. See Monetize

Adsense overview
Here are the section that you can see the adsense earning.

Adsense For Feed
Get money from adsense feed too. You can set here:
Choose the ad type : text/images ads, text ads only, or image ads only.

Frequency. You can select the ads each you post or else.

Post Length. You can choose the length of post that you want display feeds ads.

Position. Choose whether you want display ads below or top the page.

Amazon Associates. You can put Amazon account here. You can generate revenue from this blog.

13. See the Stats
Here is a new facility that you can see your visitor. You can see the number of visitor, where they come from, what they see, and what they used, and what traffic sources.

Here are step to write at Blogspot. You can write directly or you can write at word document first.
1. login to Blogger
2. Click Posting below your blog name
3. Open your word file. Do not copy paste your article to the blog directly. You should copy your file to notepad first. Then, copy the file to the blog.
4. Write the title of your article. Write an interesting title that can attract more visitors.
5. Do not forget to write the right tags. It is important to reach the search engine.
6. You can schedule the blog post too. If you wan post the blog later, you can set the date and the hours.
7. If you are bored with common text. You can change the font style and size. There are dozen font style.
8. Upload a pictures if you like. You can use free photo from photo bucket or flickr
9. Upload a video if you like. You can use YouTube, metacafe, Google Videos, and else
10. Post your blog.
