- I wanted to build one for my son in our back yard but the HUGE tree fell down in a storm! :-( No other trees big enough to do it. Looks like we will have to build a fort on the ground.

- I never built a treehouse but I did build a tree deck with chairs. These treehouse lenses take it to an entirely different level.

- I sadly had to disasemble my tree house last year because it was falling apart and dangerous, but I have so many fond memories of it!

- We actually never had a tree house, but we made wonderful cubbyhouses in the bush (ummm does that translate to the "woods" or "forest"?). My brother even designed a you-beaut 2-storey cubby made out of branches.

- Oh, we definitely had tree houses. I don't know where the materials came from (as a I child, they just seemed to appear out of nowhere). There were no detailed plans, just a "do you think that piece of board could fit over here?" The way to get to the tree house was on flimsy boards nailed to the tree trunk with barely enough room for a sneaker to fit. You just had to hope they stayed on long enough to keep climbing.
Getting down was the scariest part. But they were absolutely great fun and I hope every child gets one.
