How to Build a Website in 4 Simple Steps: And Get Targeted Traffic
Ranked #9,676 in Internet, #398,886 overall
Domain Name-Hosting Company-Web Editor- FTP
Building a website is not as tricky as it seems when you have all the tools and are taught what to do with them. To build a website, you really only need three things.
1. Domain Name- This is what is in between the www. and .com (ex. charlescrawfordonline.com) is a domain name. The most common registrar is Godaddy.com Choose a domain name that has your keywords in it. Otherwise, make sure the domain name is short, catchy, and easy to remember.
2. Hosting Account- A web hosting company basically puts what is on your computer onto the web. You upload your website to them and they upload it live onto the web. The most common web host is also Godaddy.com You can also call your hosting provider's hosting support team, and they will help you set up your hosting and answer most of your questions.
3. Web (html) Editor- This is what you actually use to build your website. This is the most important tool where you type your content and put photos, etc. The best html editor (most simple and FREE) is Kompozer. If you have dreamweaver or frontpage, you can use those as well. These are just basic web editors. Wordpress and Joomla! will allow you to build a website through them and host it with your own hosting service. I highly recommend Wordpress. These are all free ways to get your site built. Otherwise, you can always pay someone to build your site.
4. Upload what you have saved in your web editor to your hosting service (so it will be officially online) you will need to download filezilla. This is FTP (file transfer proto-call). You use filezilla to transfer what is on your computer to your hosting service's computers. This is the hardest part about building websites if you are new to it. SEO: Getting Free Traffic to Your Site
How to do SEO Right in 2011
Search engine optimization (SEO) is basically the process of ranking in search engines. If you can rank #1 in google organically and not have to pay from adwords, then you will definitely be able to make money. The first organic listing in google gets around 45% of all the traffic. Most people don't even do SEO right. They either spam their site with keywords or don't get enough back links. SEO is made up of 4 components.
The first is CONTENT. You need at least 250 words on your homepage. You also need to include the primary and secondary keywords you want to rank for in most if not every paragraph. Search engines don't like spam or lame sites with little content. Make sure your title bar has less than 12 words and repeated keywords.
Second is your DOMAIN NAME. You need a domain name that is at least somewhat close if not exact to your keywords. You will notice that most sites on the first page of google for a particular keyword have that keyword in their domain. If you can't get your keywords, get a short, catchy domain name that is easy to remember. Think about google and ebay (short and catchy).
The third and most important component of SEO is LINKS. You need back links to rank, and they are almost 80% of SEO. Links basically show how how popular a website is amongst other sites. If you have a back links to sites with high page ranks like facebook or dot gov. or edu. sites, you will be popular in the eyes of google. One link to a site with a page rank of 5 is equal to getting over 500 links to sites with a PR of 1. You can get back links by typing in your keyword + back link or blog into google and looking for blogs and submitting your website to those blogs.
The fourth component of SEO is TRAFFIC. Search engines only rank popular sites. Drive traffic through facebook, twitter, and forums. I also recommend doing at least one adwords campaign just to get some starter traffic. Besides, google likes people who pay them. They even offer free credits if you look around. So to summarize SEO, you will rank in google if you have good content, proper use of keywords, a good domain name, backlinks, and traffic.

Get 100s of Clicks a Day From Facebook In 3 Simple Steps
Facebook gets more traffic than google!
Facebook is the #1 source of online traffic- over 550 million users!!! Google has been surpassed. Google is still #2 and is definitely a major source of traffic that you should tap into. However, I will just teach you about facebook for now. To fully capitalize on facebook traffic you need to apply free traffic methods and paid methods. The free traffic methods are using facebook groups and like pages (fan pages) and getting 5,000 friends.
WHY GROUPS and LIKE PAGES are so PROFITABLE.
Groups have no limit to members and pages have no limit on likes. Plus, when someone joins a group or likes a page all their friends see it in their news feed. Also, emails get sent your group members. This is huge! And when you post, all your members get notified. Every like from your page goes viral and you can have a opt in form on your page. So start a group and page related to your niche and post quality content. Just tell all your friends a few times and warn them that you will be creating a content filled group. People will click on your links if you provide good content and earn their respect. The worst thing you can do is just create another spammy group or page. You can control who posts and what posts stay in your group.
GROUP MARKETING: Step 1 is to create a group about your niche, offer good content, and later market to your group. Groups go viral fast especially if you have good content. Don't just spam all of your members with crappy affiliate links. If you build a good relationship with your members through rich content, your conversions will be x10 easy.
LIKE PAGE MARKETING: Step 2 is to create a like page (fan page) and put an opt-in form on it. You need to build a list to be a successful internet marketer, and most people don't know that you can put an opt-in on your like page. Also, get people to like your page. The more popular, the better and facebook pages rank in google. Offer an incentive to like your page or become a friend and this will speed up the process. And, your like page can be full of content and good links to your products or affilate sales page.
FACEBOOK ADS is Step 3 and can be very profitable and get targeted traffic. Tens of thousands of targeted viewers will be drawn to your site. Now is the time to get in before the crowd or before facebook changes something. When you create your ad, make the photo catch the eye, make the title be a question, and make the description offer a solution to a problem. The photo should be abnormal to catch the viewers eyes. The question in the title makes them curious, and the description explains what you are going to do for them. And don't just send them to a sales page, unless it's really good. Facebook does allow sales pages and squeeze pages but your chances of getting good conversions are less. Target only a few interests: the more niche the better. Its better to create two duplicate ads with different interests than to have one ad that has over ten interests.
Now, you should also try to max out your friends at 5,000. Use the search bar at the top and look for a group in your niche. Then ask a lot of the people in the group to become your friends. Ad a message to your friend request, and put them in a friend list.
DAILY FACEBOOK MARKETING BLUEPRINT
You should market on facebook everyday if you can. You don't have to spend that much time either. Just a little bit everyday will do. You need to add new friends. Go to groups and like pages related to your niche and add friends. Write a personal message too. Next, POST something interesting or just a quote. Quotes are interesting, positive, and uplifting. Whenever someone has a birthday, tell them happy birthday. It is little things like this that really help build a RELATIONSHIP with people. And facebook is all about building a relationship with people. If you don't have a group, create one and post good content in it every day. Soon you will be getting a good number of friend requests, and you can right on their wall and say thanks. Also, send them a message that gives them a link to a free eBook. You should be able to give someone a free gift, either an eBook or video course. If you are experimenting with facebook adds, remember to check them daily and make sure you are getting targeted traffic. If you send people to a sales page, tell them in the add that you want them to buy something-and how much it is. Then, only people interested in pulling out their wallet will click on your add. Make sure your profile picture is one of you smiling too. Recap-add friends, post, send people your free gift, start a new group or like page. Facebook doesn't show all your posts in your friend's newsfeed anymore. They only show the posts that get likes, comments, and sends. You don't have to get one of each for it to show, just post something that engages your friends. Ask a question or ask for a response. Remember, just be honest and be yourself. The rest will follow.
