Is Building Muscle Fast Really Possible Or Just a Cruel Skinny Joke?

Vince admits that his nickname was "Skinny Vinny." Now I don't know about you but I wouldn't like a nickname like this... but I did everything just like Vince and you...I hit the gym 5 days a week. I drank protein powder until I felt like a big gas balloon. I downed all those expensive supplements that were supposed to be cutting edge...
And at the end of each week when I step up on the bathroom scale... MY WEIGHT WAS EXACTLY THE SAME!!!

And here is the truth about me... I am about 5'9" and never weighed more than 150 pounds soaking wet. Everybody always told me that I had bad genes... I had a high metabolism... and I can never gain muscle... I get all this advice from the guys at the gym to "eat like a pig."
And don't even get me started on the muscle building magazines! They are nothing more than a shrill for supplement manufacturers. Vince explained why in his book...

- from your pictures, it is evident that you were a pretty skinny kid. It's equally as obvious but he made some serious gains and turned those skinny kid genetics into something more. Interesting lens,

- Thanks but that isn't me... It's Vince DelMonte... And I used his program to gain 20 pounds of muscle in months after years of trying with no results... Seriously, it isn't the training... it is the eating and resting that does the trick. cheers... Matt.

- Good Work!! For a Lens that could so easily have felt spammy or over advertisesed due to its populized subject matter..you did a great job!!
Lokopo's observation is spot on!..try including other books/info on the same subject and you'll have yourself a cornerstone lens on the subject! :-)
