Why Build a Shed?
There are many reasons to build your own shed. Here are just a few:
Enjoyment
Building your own shed is much more enjoyable to do than buying one at the store. There isn't much that compares to the feeling of accomplishment you achieve after finishing a project you have put a lot of effort and work into.
Architecture
If you build your own shed you will be able to tailor your shed to match your house or the landscape of your yard. Sheds that are custom build also typically look much nicer that are bought.
Better Quality
Store bought sheds are typically lower quality. They aren't build to last and they often break easily. Sheds that are a higher quality are usually much more expensive and are very heavy and difficult to put in place.
Cheaper
Building your own shed is usually much cheaper than buying one, especially when you are comparing quality. This is a huge incentive in this economy.

What You Need
The tools you need always depend on the plan you are using however, most plans don't require any special tools to build. There are no perfect tools that will work for every job but I will try to list the basics. You will need:
- Hammer
- Electric Drill
- Table Saw or something to cut boards to size
- Band or Miter saw (something to cut joints in the boards)
- Shovel

- Really impressive lens. You broke everything down so it's easy to understand and follow. My dad was in construction the whole time I was growing up and showed my sister and I a thing or two in putting things together. Great Job!!!!
