Morphic Field of Comfortable Sleep, Movement and Function
From the Mayo Fibromyalgia Program comes this information: 98% of the people with fibromyalgia had used some type of Complementary medicine therapy during the previous 6 months. "The 10 most frequently used CAM treatments were exercise for a specific medical problem (48%), spiritual healing (45%), massage therapy (44%), chiropractic treatments (37%), vitamin C (35%), vitamin E (31%), magnesium (29%), vitamin B complex (25%), green tea (24%), and weight-loss programs (20%)." according to Wahner-Roedler, 2007.
This Transformational Shift Module focuses on evidence for the use of nutritional approaches; treatments that shift substance P plasma levels (acupuncture and massage therapy); modalities which affect the autonomic nervous system (Reiki, Integrative Manual Therapy), exercise, acupuncture and more.

Compatibility of Using a Matrix Energetics Framework Around Integrative Manual Therapy

Matrix Energetics Magical Solutions

Several hundred practitioners have taken both Integrative Manual Therapy courses and Matrix Energetics classes. Many of them love to use both approaches to health and healing. Practitioners familiar with both Matrix Energetics and IMT who are not incorporating Matrix have not found a way to use both to get better results than one approach alone.

Matrix Energetics uses the two point technique where the practitioners places their hands on two places on the clients body or not. The Matrix practitioners notices what changes or shifts. In IMT the practitioners spend the whole treatment with their hands in two places, typically on the clients body. They are doing something (ie) the bone bruise technique, resisting physical functional medicine motilities, myofacial release, contacting template reflex points and rhythms. As they do this they are noticing what is changing or shifting. Both practitioners are successful in changing the clients experience of their body, emotional states or reality of their life.

A Matrix Energetics practitioner can access the morphic field of Integrative Manual Therapy by asking the question, What would an IMT practitioner do? or What IMT course material could support or help this client? Matrix Energetics practitioners can also incorporate the success of IMT practitioners and course work into a module for the client. IMT practitioners can also use this approach for IMT classes they haven't taken but have access to the summary or table of contents or name of the class.

One way for IMT practitioners to use Matrix Energetics to super charge their IMT practice and use of templates is to focus on two points and notice not only what is wrong with the person but what is working well for the client and noticing what is in the environment in and around the client, in other words, broadening their awareness as they work.

Matrix Energetics can also be used diagnostically (ie) the magic circle, dimensions, asking questions, morphic fields and then using IMT techniques to support the client to go from the particles of their current experience, the experience they are having when they walk in the clinic door to the wave of possibilities. From the wave of possibilities, to collapse the wave into the particles of an experience that they feel better about.

For example the IMT practitioner can ask the question, when working with a client with headaches, "What would Kris Albrecht do?" By asking this question they can open their perception and awareness to cranial techniques that would be helpful to the client, since Kris Albrecht is a Cranial expert within the IMT community. The practitioner could also ask "What would Jean Pierre Barral do?" and even if they had not taken a Visceral Manipulation course from Jean Pierre Barral, they would enhance their perception of where they could use Liver PFMs, an IMT approach, to support the client's ability to detoxify and feel better.

In this way, the practitioner is using a concept from Matrix Energetics to find where they are going to put their hands and using an IMT technique to treat the area

Kimberly Burnham, PhD is a Matrix Energetics and Imtegrative Manual Therapy certified practitioner. She can be contacted at http://www.VisualizeHealth.net. There is also more information about accessing morphic fields of various complementary medicine approaches.
