How-To Create A Band/Album Name/Album Cover

1. We are going to get our band name by going to wikipedia. I'm going to make a band and everything along with you guys in this fun tutorial as well. FYI the computer I'm doing this on doesn't have Photoshop so I'm going to be using paint to put this all together. So lets get started by going to wikipedia. Here we are going to click on random article and this will give you a random page with a title. This title is the name of your band. I have randomed "Air Force ranks and insignia of Iran." I don't know what this is and frankly not caring is better as it doesn't give a bias point of view towards making your album cover. So now I've got my band name. I haven't got a picture I possibly should have made this step 2 but I'm making this in a rush and for fun so You'll have to deal with a mental image for a picture for this section. Onto step 2!

2. We are going to go to flickr! We are going to make our way over to interesting uploads from the last 7 days and choose the 5th image that you see. Be honest as this randomness can really contribute well to your cover without you knowing. Now I've got a lady on a bed with a cat and I don't really see how that relates to my band name but bear with me it will look good in the end. So I've put the band name and picture together on the right. Just by the way I don't know if this is infringing on copyright or not, lets hope not aye.

Now I don't like how that looks but I could do it better if I had Photoshop, paint is really difficult. Be imaginitive with where you put stuff and the size and colour of each individual word to reflect the feel of your image and words.

3. Now lets get our album name. Make your way to wikiquote and click random page. You'll be presented with a quote or a few quote on the page and what your are to do with those quotes are as follows. You are to take the last 3-5 words of one of those quotes and that will be your album name. I've randomed Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and I've chosen the album name "you're a bona fide moron." So I've added it to the album cover and that will be the finished product below this paragraph.

Again using paint it's hard but I still think it looks good. Just remember to be creative with everything you do and you'll get a nice looking album cover. Also because I'm rushing I didn't change the colour or anything but I still think it looks alright for the time I spent on it.
