Marketing Intelligence---The Only Ways a Prospective Customer Will Find You
There are only 2 ways people can find you on the 'Net
marketing your site so that you can make money online, you have to use the basics of marketing intelligence.
The most basic rules for marketing can be described as:
Helping them find you...or letting them find you on their own.
I know that sounds a little "iffy", but in today's Internet market, that's just the way it is.
You will either make them locate you or they will be searching and somehow find you and your site.
Here's a simple breakdown of each of these 2 ways:
!. . You force them to find you
Most new marketers, until they gain some experience, lean mostly on using safelists and traffic exchanges to drive people to their sites
While there is nothing inherently wrong with this strategy, the traffic they do manage to send to their site is a one-time shot.
After gaining enough credits to send people to visit, it is necessary to start back a t square one and gain more credits to get more visitors.
Many new marketers opt for buying traffic to their blogs or sites.
This can be expensive, and while it does work, just as in safelists and exchanges, it is temporary in nature---and places the marketer back to repeating the marketing process for each new day of marketing.
2. They find you through search interest
This is a far better way, little expense involved, and is perpetual and permanent in nature---meaning each time you work this particular concept, it has a exponential effect over time.
The best ways to utilize this concept is in informational content in the form of premium blog posts and article distribution.
In creating premium content, the new marketer can write interesting blog posts and articles centered around particular words---keywords--that someone using a search engine might type in to fond information about those keywords.
As the interested parties use this search, the keywords will lead them directly to the content written by the marketer, therefore getting visitors.
Content on the Internet is permanent and long-lasting. It will be evident and stay on the 'Net for years.
Since this content is permanent, people using those same search words months and years from now, will still be directed to a marketer's site--gaining more and more visits from just one effort of creating content.
This proves to be a far better alternative when working a marketing process since the time and value for the new marketer and home-based business person creates everlasting and self-perpetuating visits over time.
If you are a new marketer online, consider placing emphasis on content creation in the form of blogging and submitting articles to the top-ranking article directories. You will find that your time and effort will have higher potential profit-producing value if you make the effort to produce quality and interesting content based around the right keywords.

Home-Based Entrepreneurs---5 Free Tools that will Help You Succeed Online
These free tools will save you a ton of software costs
there could be a lot of costs associated with software and services.
Other marketers would have new people believe that they need
to purchase premium cost items, but the truth of the matter is that
there are items available that are free of charge that the new marketer
can use and keep the start up costs low.
Here are 5 free software and services that will help you get things done:
1. OpenOffice
OpenOffice is a free software that works like Word, but includes a PDF maker.
Create a document, just like you would in Word, click the PDF icon,
and instantly your document is formatted into PDF, which is the common
download-able format across the Internet.
OpenOffice is great for creating free giveaway products, creating
for-sale e-books, whitepapers, etc. Using this free software will
save you a minimum of $200 as compared to purchasing a PDF creator.
2. Free Audacity Audio
Audacity is a free audio creation utility that will allow you to make audio recordings
that you can use in communicating with your subscribers or downlines,
creating training audios for your people, creating podcasts to build your brand online,
or any other use you can imagine for audio creation.
You will need the free accompanying Lame MP3 to turn those recordings into download-able formats.
This saves the new marketer a minimum of $80 as compared to purchasing an audio creation software.
3. There will be a time in the future where the new marketer will want to
host a webinar or web conference. Software for this goes into the hundreds of dollars, but
there is a free option that works just as well. Freebinar offers
a great service for webinars and web conferences that makes it all so easy to do. If you are considering
starting up a training webinar series, or just want to add webinars to your marketing strategies, be sure and check
this one out.
4. A great way to help establish personal and business branding is hosting your own
Social Networking site. With your own social site, you can create long-lasting relationships,
use it as a training platform for your people, give your subscribers and downlines
a place to communicate and share ideas. An awesome free resource for this is
Dolphin. Dolphin will allow you to easily
start up and operate a social networking site without the necessity of joining other people's
sites, and without the high costs normally associated with establishing such a site.
5. For creating polls and surveys for your subscribers or downlines,
PollDaddy is free and easy to work.
Creating surveys or polls is the best way to get ideas as to what your
subscribers need or want. PollDaddy will help you keep on top of their needs.
Online business success does not necessarily come from spending a lot of money
getting your business up and running. By using some of the free software and services above,
you will offset some of the cost items and get some high-quality items at the same time.
Ideas on Internet Success Part One
Creating Online Success in Your Internet or Home-Based Business
It takes an initial decision, and that decision should be the turning point in your life---
the point that makes your past life a "happy-to-get-that-behind-me" memory.
Online success starts with a solid foundation.
Here are some ideas that will help you begin the building of that foundation.
1. "WHY?" The true reason you've decided to run an online business
Nothing is a more powerful motivation to succeed online than your having
that one true core reason for trying it.
What's your reason?
For a single Mom, it might be "to make ends meet".
Going deeper with that, I might ask: "why don't the ends meet now?"
She would reply: " not enough money coming in right now".
I would ask: "why do you need more money, truly?"
She would reply: "to feed my babies, truly".
So, the core reason for her is to be absolutely sure and secure that her kids
are provided for, since no one else is offering a solution, she knows now that
it is up to her to provide that security.
Think about your initial reason, then dig a little deeper.
You'll find that the core reasons are to provide security, provide adequately for the family,
and to get somewhere in life.
Find your core truth in running your business and it will keep you motivated perpetually.
Do so, and you have just laid the most important piece of that foundation.
2. Understanding Money
There is no downside to having a lot of money.
Money provides freedom, security, the ability to do what you want and have what you want.
Money should not be the main reason you come online to run a business.
Money is only the effect and result of your operating a business correctly.
If you think about that for a moment, it will make sense.
Money is the end result of your good works.
Good works is nothing more than helping people solve problems, acquire what the need or want.
Money happens when Good Works is your main project in your online business.
Internet success, then, is nothing more than running a business using the Internet as a platform--and
your business focuses on helping people solve problems.
Simple.
3. Understanding the realm of knowledge you must acquire.
Knowledge is acquired a little at a time. Although a major necessity, it is vital that you
do not try to learn too much at once, or try to learn it all too quickly.
This will result in "overwhelm" and you'll slowly begin to fail in your business.
A good rule of thumb is take only one topic at a time, work on learning it.
As you learn, apply immediately what you learn---then go on to the next topic.
Create an education plan. List the things you know that you must learn right now.
Then, work your way through that list, adding to it as you locate new topics of study.
Before you think about paying for some expensive training, try doing some research first.
Google is a wonderful way to locate information about what you want to know.
Simply type in the search box:
your keyword + articles,
your keyword + videos,
your keyword + blogs,
your keyword + ezines.
Take notes as you go from one category to another.
You'll find a wealth of free information and "how-to's" waiting for you.
Create that foundation with "the WHY", your mission, and some knowledge,
and you will set a roadmap that leads to online success.
Ideas on Internet Success---Part Two
Creating Online Success in Your Internet or Home-Based Business
Creating online success from scratch offers the new internet marketer a barrel full of challenges.Getting the foundation for your business set up correctly will help you avoid many of the future obstacles
that might hinder your internet business success.
Here are a few thoughts that help further build that solid business foundation.
1. Understand that success is birthed from great strategies
Strategies are like recipes. Mix together thr correct ingredients in the right proportions and
they will always produce the same predictable results.
2. Understand that you will achieve success in any area of your life by identifying the
optimum strategies that are "right" for you, then repeating the use of those strategies until they become HABITS.
The Two major reasons why people don't achieve online business success are:
(a not being clear enough about where they are now in life and where they want to be in the future
(b not knowing, understanding, or having a defined set of strategies they can repeat and turn into habits
in order to reach that success.
Let me take these a little further:
You must be clear enough with yourself knowing where you are now.
What is your exact situation in life now?
If you are in a negative life or financial situation today, it is just that---a situation, nothing more.
Situations can be changed.
Take a piece of paper and pen and write down all the good things you have going on for you right now.
Take your time with it. These positives will help fuel your "today mindset" and these are the things
you want to be continued in life, so make sure you are aware off all the good things you have.
Next, write down all the problems you are having that could be solved with a new influx of
money flowing into the household. This may be a small list, maybe a large list. Make it anyway.
Understand that money CAN solve many problems, and list things that are negative in your life now
that a specific amount of money can solve.
Once you have those lists written down, you will have the basics of where you are now,
and an idea of the types of problems that will need to be solved as you go through the
start up and running of your business.
From this point, you now have a piece of that foundation that is so very crucial, and that is
knowing exactly where you are now, and understanding what things need to be accomplished
with your business.
The day-by-day work you can do in setting up the foundation will help you have a mission for
your business and it will further your progress toward online success.
Making money online without the hassle
Here are 5 resources for making easy money online with simple freelancing
You've bought all the cool products and joined a ton of programs, but still
haven't hit the mark just yet.
You're learning and acquiring some necessary skills as you go, and now it's time to get some of those
skills to pay off.
With the recession in full swing and all the "desperate marketer" hype going on out there,
making money is not only competitive, but stressful as well.
Here are 5 resources that will help you make some quick money online, without the hassle, and put
some of your experience to work for a payoff:
1. Gigbux.com
Gigbux is a freelance site that just about any marketer can go to and post simple jobs to perform for pay. The jobs people are posting are a pleasant variety of just about anything imaginable. The jobs you can post can pay you $5, $10, or $20.
2. Gigswood.com
This site is similar to Gigbux, but the jobs you can post here range from $4, $9, and $19. This provides you with a nice little pricing alternative.
3. Fiverr.com
You've probably already seen this site---it's very popular.
Post your jobs here and earn $5, just like their site name.
4. Freelance5.com
This site is set up a little different--more like a forum with jobs categorized as threads.
Jobs here that you can freelance go from $4 and up.
Although not as popular yet as the others mentioned, I think it will also attract many people looking to pay for freelance and outsourced work that you already have enough skill and experience to perform.
5. SevenStew.com
SevenStew is a great way to bump up your freelancing due to their pricing sets.
Here, you can make job offers of $7, $14, $21, and higher. I noticed that the job pricing is based
on multiples of "7". If your freelance job can be a higher-priced project, then SevenStew is the one to check out.
How to get set up to earn income as a freelancer with these resources:
* Go to each site and take a look, take time to poke around their site, categories, and jobs.
* if you feel comfortable with what you see, simply sign up for free.
* Go through the categories that match your niche and see what the other freelancers are doing, what jobs they are posting.
* Brainstorm and decide what jobs you might be able to provide within that category and still be competitive
* Post your freelance job on the site.
* Keep track of all inquiries. These will turn into future jobs for you as well.
* Work your job ethically and professionally. Give great service.
* Stay in contact with your customers and stay in their periphery. You will be the one they contact next time they need a job completed.
Freelancing is a great way to make money online without the hassle as long as you know where to go for quick, simple jobs.
"Get Paid To" Sites---Are They Best for Creating Internet Income?
It's a time vs. money issue.
GPT sites---are they best for creating internet income?Over the past 7 years there has been an abundant crop of GPT (get-paid-to) businesses online.
Paid-to-click and paid-to-read are common methods new marketers use to make some sort of income.
But for you, are they the best way for YOU to make money online?
I have a firm and definite opinion on these sites, but I'll get to that later.
But, if you are going to use GPT sites as a way to make money, you first must have
a complete understanding about how they work.
How GPT's work:
GPT are advertising sites. Advertisers contract companies for marketing services.
Marketing companies enlist GPT sites to show the advertiser's sites.
The thought here is that you will become interested in the advertiser's product or service while you
are clicking to earn money. This has proven to work out wonderfully for the advertiser, since many
people clicking often sign up or make purchases while they are doing their GPT duties.
Some GPT sites have high initial payout requirements.
I have seen these requirements be as high as $10,000 you must earn before claiming your payout.
Some GPT sites do not last long enough for the "clickers" to reach their limits.
Many of these type of sites have a life of a few months.
They aren't designed to be sustainable business models.
They make their income from the advertisers, and rely heavily on the clicker to
upgrade so that higher per click incomes can be made.
Many people upgrade, only to be left with no account when the GPT folds up.
Some GPT sites pay 1/10 of one cent per click, and the time to stay on site to earn that money is
60-120 seconds. Some pay higher, but the norm is from 1/10 of one cent to a penny per click.
Of course, there are some out there that aren't so bad, but they are rare today.
If you have no other option right now to make money online, then there is nothing wrong with trying
your hand at GPT sites. Some people still aren't sure what they want to do as a business yet,
some don't know the basics of earning online yet, and for those people GPT is a viable option---
at least they can earn something while they get their business training and concepts learned.
Some ideas if you are going to try GPT:
Go with one that has a low initial payout. Look for ones with a $10 minimum payout.
Go with one that has a lower "time on site" timing requirements. Try to spend less time getting
credit for what you click.
Go with ones that pay higher "per click" amounts. One cent and higher would make your time spent a
little more worthwhile.
Sign up with as many as you can that meet those requirements.
Get 2 computers, a swivel chair on wheels, open a tab for each one of your sites, and start clicking.
Those 2 computers, with 10 tabs open in the browsers on each one and then going from tab to tab,
computer to computer, clicking and letting the timers run---would be your best bet to make the time
you spend worth all that effort.
My opinion of GPT
Although there is nothing wrong with you working GPT's, I personally think you're far better than
that.
I think that you are selling yourself short if you think you cannot use the brain that you have to
create a business that earns more money for the time you spend...earning far greater income results
than with any GPT.
In other words...you're intelligent enough to go further in your income earning potential if you take
a little time to learn some of the basic ropes such as blogging, basic writing, and basic research.
Let's do the math.
Let's say that you wanted to earn $50 per week online. That amount would make you happy.
So, you sign up to do some pay-per click or pay-per read.
If you earn one cent per click (most are 1/10 of one cent per click), and the timer is 60 seconds.
Every hour you will earn 60 cents.
If you work at it 4 hours per day, you will earn $2.40 that day.
Therefore, to earn $50 per week, you would have to click for 5000 minutes per week, or 83 hours.
Of course, if they pay less than one cent per click, you earn even less .
I think you are better than that.
If you are working with GPT's out of necessity, try to set aside a little time to explore the
probabilities of using your current knowledge and talents toward a more time-value-profit channel.
