Customize Zazzle Binders

Let's say you just arrived at my Binders Store.
You had a look around and noticed the cute Green Alien Binder:

On this screenshot you can see where you can change the inside color of the binder and where you can change the Ring type.

(Not every design can be used on the 3 binder sizes. My Green Alien design for example can only be used for the 2" binder.)

I used a white color for the inside of this binder. But you can change it to black if you like to :)

A lot of binders have some fields on this site and you can customize the
binder with your own text.

Just type in what you want to see on your binder.

You typed your text. Everything worked fine.... BUT..... That does not look ok!

You don't want to have that "Green Alien Stuff" text like that.
Maybe you prefer to have it like this:

Green Alien
Stuff

And you may want to have the word "Stuff" centered under "Green Alien"..

And some of you may really don't like that font.

What to do now???

Have a look at this screenshot.

Under the product image you'll find a small "Customize it" button.

Click on that button :)

Now this window will open and you have a lot of options there :)

Click first on the tab "Binder Options"

You can change the size of the binder and also the Ring Type and the inside color.
Just click on the different binder sizes and try if the design will look ok for the size you like to have. But as I mentioned above - not all designs will work for all binder sizes.

But just try it :) You can always go back to the original size (2" here).

Now click on the "Customize it" tab and an other window will open.

1. Area - When you click on the arrow beneath the word "background" you can switch to different areas of the binders.
Just click on the different areas to see what you can change there.

Some Zazzle shopkeepers prefer to design the whole binder on the background area, some prefer to make seperate graphics for Front, Spine and Back.

2. Change text / Delete. Click on "change text" and a small text window will open. You can type a new text there. It works like each writing software. If you click on "delete" all text will be deleted.

3. Click on this button to change the font. You can choose between (at the moment) 310 different fonts.

4. Change the font size here. You can type in a size or click on the + and - to change the size.

5. Change the text color here

6. Align the text

7. Add more images to the design

8. Add more text

9. This is not important for our example - but it's a great feature if a design has a transparent background. When you click on "colors" a new window will open and you can choose a background color for an item from a large color palette.

You can make all kind of changes to make a design "your own" :)

I'm sure I forgot a few things - but I hope I explained the most important things.

But if I forgot something, just go to Zazzle and play a bit around with the settings
you can change. If you messed everything up you can always start new ;)

Maybe you want to make your own designs now :)
Just try it! It's so much fun to make designs for all kind of things.
You can use your own photos or maybe graphics you made.

And who knows - maybe you'll start a great new hobby making Zazzle designs or maybe you'll even start making a bit pocket money at Zazzle or you will become the next ProSeller over there :)
