I joined this site and was so ready to begin. It took a lot to get me to do it. My wife, my kids, and my friends were all dropping hints. Then my Doctor told me to do it. " DO IT NOW ! " he said... so I did. And I have lost over 30 lbs.

They taught me things like drinking water on a regular basis 'all day long' is very important in the beginning. It's hard to drink as much as they wanted at first but I did it and the first 10 pounds just seemed to fall off. The water allowed my body to run cleaner. Kind of like getting a tune up on the car. I found myself processing the food I ate quicker and easier. Softer stool means that your body is using the food you ate better. They also taught me to eat less, but more often. I still eat a balanced diet of good foods but I can still eat the burgers, fries and my favorite, ice cream. I just learned to eat them in moderation.

I am so happy that I finally stepped up and did something about my unwanted weight. Now I have more energy and enjoy the day much better. I even have enough energy to keep up with my kids. Well, almost. ha ha ha
