From the lens Why Make and Install a Do It Yourself Solar Power System?.

If you have enjoyed reading this lens, found interesting content, learned something you didn't know before or just want to say high, here is the place to do so.

I would also appreciate anyone who takes the time to give my lens a rank if you find it is deserving enough.

Thanks

@ akbusiness - I will definitely be looking into thin film solar shingles some time in future.

I like how they blend into the roof better than normal solar panels, but they are still relatively expensive compared to building your own, and I will need to see a couple more installations in person before I can pass judgement one way or the other.

    Thanks to all for commenting.

Great informative lens. I wonder what is your opinion about thin film solar shingles. Is it better than "regular" solar panels.
