Draw a caricature of President Obama with this easy to follow step-by-step tutorial.

This tutorial will show you how to draw a caricature of President Obama. President Obama was born August 4, 1961. He is the 44th President of the United States, having taken office in 2009. He is also the first African American to hold the office. Obama previously served as a United States Senator from Illinois, from January 2005 until he resigned after his election to the presidency in November 2008.

In this drawing tutorial we will be using simple shapes so even the most novice artist will be able to achieve expert results. When following theses directions it is always better to begin your drawing with step one, then step two, and so on this will assure you that you get the desired effect from your completed drawing.

One of President Obama's prominent features is his smile. So we want to make sure it stands out in our drawing. To do this draw an upside down rounded triangle that bows in the middle.

Now we give him a simple nose.

President Obama often looks as though he's squinting. So we want to keep the eyes simple. Draw his eyes as simple lines being a little thicker towards the outside and put a small 3/4 circle at the bottom middle of your line. Make sure to add some thick eyebrows

Another of President Obama's prominent features is his ears. Draw them starting where you merged your two shapes in step one and end them at the top of the mouth.

Add a hairline. Luckily for us President Obama keeps his hair short and therefore it's very easy to draw.

You can stop at step seven and have a nice and simple caricature of President Obama or color him and give him a body. I made mine doctor Obama.
