How To Draw A Cartoon Dog

Draw a cartoon dog with this easy to follow step-by-step tutorial.
You should be able to follow this tutorial pretty easily using only the pictures provided. Although written account is given of each step, hopefully you wouldn't need it. However if you do get stuck along the way the written instructions may come in handy.
How To Draw A Cartoon Dog #1
Draw a large oval; draw a smaller circle centered vertically in the oval about three quarters inside the oval and one quarter below it. How To Draw A Cartoon Dog #2
Next we'll add a triangle sitting on top of a rectangle. The top of the triangle should just be above the bottom of the oval. How To Draw A Cartoon Dog #3
Now draw a diamond on either side of the head. These should be a little larger than the head. How To Draw A Cartoon Dog #4
Round off all points of the ears and erase any lines inside your large oval. How To Draw A Cartoon Dog #5
Erase any lines inside your circle. Directly above your circle draw two smaller circles for the eyes. All three of these circles should be touching. Under the eyes draw an inverted rounded triangle for the nose. The top of nose should be part of the larger circle. At the point of the nose draw a "J" and a mirrored "J" for the mouth. Using your triangle and rectangle for a guide draw in the legs. These are little more than the letter "b" and "b" mirrored. Erase any unused lines and add a tail. How To Draw A Cartoon Dog #7
