How To Draw A Cartoon Lamb
Ranked #4,147 in Arts & Design, #63,458 overall
Draw a cartoon lamb with this easy to follow step-by-step tutorial.
This tutorial will show you step-by-step how to draw a picture of a cartoon lamb or sheep. Simple shapes are used so even the most novice artist will be able to achieve expert results.
This is one of my more simple drawing tutorials. A person should be able to follow it relatively easy using only the pictures. Although written account is given of each step, hopefully you wouldn't need them, but if you get stuck along the way they should help.
Remember the more you draw cartoons the better they will become. And the better they become the more you will enjoy cartooning!

How To Draw A Cartoon Lamb #1
Start with drawing a large circle for your lamb's head. Near the top of your lamb's head draw a couple ellipses for his ears leaving enough room between them for his pompadour. The pompadour is a large oval that has smaller half circles drawn around it.Keep his facial features simple. Use circles for the eyes a small curved line for the nose and a larger one for his mouth. Connect them with a vertical line.

The body is drawn much like the pompadour only use a circle for it and enlarge the half circles you draw around it's outside. How To Draw A Cartoon Lamb #3
The front legs are straight lines drawn under the body and the feet are half circles with curved bottoms. How To Draw A Cartoon Lamb #4
The back legs are drawn the same as the front only set them off to one side. How To Draw A Cartoon Lamb #5
Erase any stray lines and color your drawing. How did your lamb turn out? Remember the most important part of drawing cartoons is to have fun!
I hope you had fun with this lesson, don't forget to check the bottom of this page for more of my featured cartoon drawing tutorials.
Vote for a Future Tutorial

Every few weeks I do a new poll. Giving my readers a choice of four drawings for a new tutorial. When a winner is chosen I do a tutorial for that drawing and replace it with another new possibility.
