How To Draw A Monkey #1Start with an oval for the top of your monkey's head. Draw another larger oval for the bottom of his head at about the middle of the top oval.

How To Draw A Monkey #2Inside the top oval draw two smaller ovals and one inside the bottom oval. When all the extra lines are erased these will form your monkeys face.

How To Draw A Monkey #3Add a circle to both sides of your monkey's head for his ears.

How To Draw A Monkey #4Draw a couple more ovals for your monkey's eyes.

How To Draw A Monkey #5Under the eyes draw two semi-circles for the nostrils. Below the nostrils draw your monkey's mouth keep it simple and whimsical. Draw an oval for the body starting at the bottom of the face. Keep the oval for your monkey's body smaller than the head.

How To Draw A Monkey #6Just above and below where the head and body meet draw a couple bowed lines for your monkey's arms. At the bottom of the body draw a couple bowed legs. Make them a little thicker than the arms and about the same length to a little shorter than the arms.

    I will first sketch my drawings with pencil and paper. When I'm satisfied with what I have I will scan my drawing into Paint Shop Pro to work on the final project.
