How to Draw ' Martin the Martian'
Welcome all to my 'How to draw Martin the Martian' Lens. Another of my New Character 'Sneak Preview' pages, Martin is one of my latest creations !!
All you need is a pencil / pen and a sheet of paper, Oh and a little imagination. So scroll down the page and in no time at all i'll have you drawing this 'Little Green Man'!

Martin the Martian
Deep in outer space so very far away,
Nestled in a place that some call the Milkyway.
In a little solar system on a planet thats quite red,
Lays a tiny green man who's fast asleep upon his bed.

Grab a pencil, here's the plan, to help you draw this little green man !
Stage 1
Stage 2
To the right hand side of his mouth draw in a 'U' shape for his tongue, draw in a line down the centre of his tongue, ( see picture for help ).
Under the first curved line, draw in the bottom of his mouth, ( smaller and lower down - See picture for help ).
At the top corners of his mouth, draw in two curved lines for his cheeks.
Stage 3
Draw three curved lines above his eye's, between his eye brows.
Draw in three curved lines on either side of his eyes's, and a curved line under each eye ( see picture for help ).
Now draw in a curved line for his chin line, ( see picture for help ).
Stage 4
From the top right of this ear draw an upside down curved 'V' shape, draw in his right ear, again use a semi-circle, ( see picture for help ).
On both ears, draw in his inner ear, ( see picture for help ).
Draw in his lip lines, between his nose and mouth ( see picture for help ).
Stage 5
Now for his chin, draw in a broad 'U' Shape, now for his right cheek, draw in a reverse 'C' shape, curve a line up to meet just under the right ear ( see picture for help ).
Stage 8
From this end point draw in a reverse 'C' shape, ( see picture for help ).
From the bottom of his sleeve draw a curved line inwards to the right ( towards his waste - see picture for help ).
At the waste draw in a curved 'L' shape, curve a line down to make the left side of his belt strap, ( see picture for help ).
To the right side of his cheek draw in a curved line out to the right.
From this end point draw in a 'C' shape, ( see picture for help ).
From the bottom of his sleeve draw a curved line inwards to the left ( towards his waste - see picture for help ).
At the waste draw in a reversed curved 'L' shape, curve a line down to make the right side of his belt strap, ( see picture for help ).
Stage 9
Now for his right arm, from the top of his right sleeve, draw a curved line out to the right, along this line add in two small bumps, at the elbow draw in a wide 'U' shape for his elbow, now for his forearm, continue a line back and towards his mid-section, curve a line around to form his fingers, curve a line back around to form the back of his hand, as you bring his arm up to the back of the elbow draw in two more bumps, curve a line back just in from the elbow and meet back up with the middle of the sleeve, ( see picture for help ).
On each hand draw in two more fingers ( see picture for help ).
Shade in his inner ears and his mouth, ( see picture for help ).
Stage 15
Now from the right hand side of Martins belt draw a curved line down and to the right, from this draw a straight line down again to the right and curve this around at the bottom to make his trouser leg, draw a line from this up and join to the curved line from the other leg, ( see picture for help ).
Stage 16
Repeat these instructions for his right leg, ( see picture for help ).
