How to Drive FREE traffic

I found another tool to drive more traffic. It is free, starts sending traffic quickly, even the same day. It's easy to figure out, and you don't have to do anything special. Just surf the internet like you always have.

It is Instant Buzz!

If you haven't heard of Instant Buzz, here's a little info.

It is a toolbar that you download. (it only takes a second). On the toolbar you will see a new ad each time you move to a new page on the internet. Each time you see a new ad you earn a certain amount of credits. As you earn more credits your ad will be shown in the bar more often.

You can earn credits a bunch of ways including inviting friends, paying for them, surfing the net, putting ads in your emails, and ads/banners on your website. Each of these gives you a different amount of credits. I signed up earlier today and I already have over 25 credits. (which means my ad will be shown in someone elses toolbar 25 times.) If you invite others you will also receive credits for each of their surfing as well. It ads up really quickly with as little as three referrals.

I have received high praise from trusted sources about this free traffic method, which is why I joined.

I will let you know how much traffic I start getting in a few days. They claim you can begin receiving a large amount of traffic very quickly. We shall see.

Getting search traffic is like the holy grail in internet marketing. This traffic is super targeted and is often in buying mode when they get to your site. This is always good for you.

To get google traffic you have to have good keywords. You can either do your own keyword research, or you can find a service where you can get your keyword research done for you.

Niche in a box is a service that will provide you with 15 targeted keywords (with at least 500 searches/month and minimal competition), as well as articles on your topic and a few affiliate programs to promote to your viewers.

In my never ending quest to drive more traffic I came across Link Referral.

I have not been super fond of link exchanges and have not found them to be beneficial for the amount of time they take. However, this one came recommended by a friend over at Myspace and so I took a look.

Link Referral has some benefits that I particularly like, but let me explain how it works for those who do not know.

First you sign up for your account. This means telling them what website you want people to go and look at, your name and other basic info. It is free. :) You also choose what category you want your website put in.

I posted this blog in the Money Making Opportunities category and the information sub category. I have been able to keep it in the top 20 of all the websites listed in that subcategory which is 848. Pretty good.

Here's how it works. After you get your account set up you can improve your ranking (how high up the list you show up) by looking at other websites, reviewing other websites, and/or making a post in the forum (where you can also leave a signature). You only have to view 30 websites, do 5 reviews, and 1 post to move up as high as you possibly can. It can take some time, only because there are some really good sites listed, and I have found some really good information so far. If you just click through, it will only take you about 20 minutes I imagine.

In the last two days I have already received 15 hits from Link Referral, and from what I am reading in the forum it will increase. There are people stating they are receiving thousands of hits a month through this referral site. Now I'm not sure if they are exaggerating or not, but I think it is worth the time and effort for some free traffic.

You also get to put up an "about me" page people can see with your website listed, and I put a website in the body of the about me page. This is a plus because the more people see you as a real person the more likely they are to know, like and trust you and we all know how important that is.
