Insomnia affects many people throughout the world. But how can we stop this never ending cycle of restlessness? First we should look at some things in our everyday life to see if there is a quick fix. Ask yourself if you have done any of these things before bedtime.

Have the room temperature to hot?
Clear your mind of all the days stresses?
Have light showing in your sleep space?
Have energy drinks or caffeine before you went to bed?
We should all try to avoid or deal with these things before we decide to go to sleep. A few things that we can try to do are:
*Get more natural sun during the day.
*Go into a Jacuzzi, hot tub, warm bath or shower before bedtime.
*Plan the next days activities before you go to sleep.
*Play soothing music before bed.
*Establish a consistent sleeping schedule.
*Do something that you enjoy before you go to sleep to ease the tension.
*Read a book.
Any of these things could help you get a better nights rest. The main thing is that anyone that is having trouble going to sleep should try natural means before a drug remedy is introduced.
