2. Once you decide on a niche you have to learn how to find niche keywords. This means finding keywords that have plenty of search volume and not so much competition so you can land yourself at the top of page one to get search traffic.

How to Find Niche Ideas ~ The First Step
Learning how to find niche ideas can seem hard, but it's really not. The main thing you need to do is let go of the things you think you know. You have to be open to finding those great little niches you never would have thought of on your own.Here are some great ways to find some niches:
Go to amazon and grab something from a category and put it in the google adwords tool. See what comes up.
Look around your house. See what you've got sitting around ~ everything has the possibility to leading to niche ideas. Put the things laying on your desk in the adwords tool and see what comes up.
Go to a mall and look around. Write down all the different things you see people might buy. Put them in the adwords keyword tool and see what comes up.
I happen to love digging for niches. For me it's like hunting for treasure. I know though, not everyone is as diligent crazy as I am. I know that.

How to Find Niche Keywords

How to find niche keywords can be complicated. There are so many different ways to do niche marketing. The keywords you look for will be different depending on the type of site or marketing you are going to do.I personally love to build squidoo lenses ~ can ya tell? I also like to build small niche sites using wordpress.
When I am doing these kind of sites I look for small niches, with decent search traffic and minimal competition.
This means ~ I look for keywords within my niche with at least 500 searches/month and under 30k competing pages.
They are definitely out there. If I can find these kind of keywords I can be pretty sure I can rank for them and start getting traffic.
This is exactly what I do for the niche in a box kits. I find at least 15 closely related keywords fitting these criteria. When you get a niche in the box kit you no longer have to worry about being able to rank your keywords in google ~ it's almost a given!

How to Find Niche Keywords and Use them The Right Way
Once you've found your keywords it's really important to make sure you are using them to your full advantage. This means using keyword anchor text within your site or lens.
I see so many people get this wrong, using "click here" as the anchor text for their links. This is not going to do you any favors with Google. Google likes to see links out with keyword anchor text. Now give it to them.

How to Find NIche Content ~ Now you have to find the words!
this can be hard if you don't know the niche
Once you've got your keywords put together you have to come up with some content to put them in! This can be difficult if you don't know much about your niche. Here are a few ways to get niche content if you aren't very familiar with your niche.Go to ezinearticles.com and read the articles related to your niche. REWRITE the content in your own words on your site or lens.
Use PLR content you might find on your topic. Make sure to change it up and make it your own. Make sure it is related to your specific keywords when you are done.
Hire a writer. If you really don't want to do it, you can hire a writer. Hiring a good writer to write quality content can get expensive though.

How to Find Niche Products
you gotta have something to sell right?
Once you've got your keywords and something to put on your site, you have to find something to sell right?This is where niche affiliate products come in. You can find these a few different ways.
1. Go to google and put search for your keyword + affiliate program. This may bring up some things you hadn't thought of.
2. Go to click bank and see if there's anything related to your topic.
3. Check amazon.com and ebay.com to see if there is anything related to your keywords you can promote.
4. Get a niche in a box and let me find them for you!
