How to Fire My Boss: A New Project

It's a dream I have, and I am sure I share this with a lot of you. Walking into the boss' office and handing him his walking papers. Hit the road, sayonara, good riddance, don't call me I'll call you...I won't let the door hit me on the way out.

Really, I have been lucky to have worked for some very good employers. And I haven't had too many jobs that I dreaded going to work. Don't get me wrong tho, it's not like I jumped up and down every morning screaming...I LOVE MY JOB...AND I CAN'T WAIT TO GET THERE. And I have never been known to say on a Monday that the weekend was too long, I couldn't wait to get back to work today.

But, as is often said...a job is a job. And I haven't exactly had the easiest of jobs...mostly all manual labor types. And that was always the problem, I never really had a passion about anything as far as a career goes. I've had a bunch of jobs, not any of which were careers.

But what I consider to be my most labor intense job, isn't even close to being at the bottom of my list of least favorite jobs. Because I had a cool boss and a big crew of really nice guys. And when we worked on a job for a few days, a week, 2 months, or a year or more. There was always a great sense of accomplishment when we walked off that job.

No matter how cool the boss, the crew, or the job was...I still had thoughts about how to fire my boss from time to time.

This was my problem...exactly what am I going to do to accomplish my dream. As I stated before, the lottery thing didn't quite work out, so what could I do to start working towards that dream of mine.

That brings me here, here as in this new part of my life. As well as here writing this article. Something I have recently gotten into is Internet Marketing, which a good part of it for me is Article Marketing. There are many different ways to go about marketing online and Article Marketing, also known as Bum Marketing, was a inexpensive way to get started. It's was also a fairly "easy" way to get going on the road to fire my boss.

When I say it was an easy way to get started, I don't mean that it is easy to do. Because, although it is pretty straightforward when you break it down to the brass tacks, there is a lot of research and techniques you have to learn. And you must be wiling to do the work to get that done.

Work? What's with that? I thought you were talking about firing your boss? Weren't you?

Yes I am...I never said you wouldn't have to work to accomplish what you want. After all, If there was a get rich scheme out there that you didn't have to work to make it happen, there would be a lot of rich people walking around doing nothing for a living. This is work, it's not like when I was diggin' ditches for a living, but it's work none the less. And sometimes yes, it's pretty hard work.

Needless to say that since i started this fire my boss project, I have been immersing myself in it. It's on my mind all the time, even when I'm not at the computer. It's in my blood now....I can't get rid of it. There are things I know now that until recently would have never imagined myself knowing. Sure I have put in a lot of long nights in, but I finally found something I really enjoy doing. You might even say I have a "passion" for it.

I can't believe that I have many articles that I have written out there on the BIG WWW. Heck, I never new I could even write a decent article, never mind get them published. Also the fact that I have my own websites, my lil' piece of the web so to speak, kinda blows my mind actually.

It's a work in progress, and I have learned a lot as I continue to build it. I just kind of add to it as I gain more tips and techniques, and it has become almost like a journal about how to go about handing my boss his walking papers

My project isn't going to help out some of the seasoned marketers out here, but I believe it can help someone interested in the business gain some knowledge about how you can start a business from home. Check it out, and maybe I can shed some light about how things work.
