I tried to get flat and sexy abs for years but failed. I wasted hours doing sit-ups and boring cardio routines, but still had that layer of stubborn belly flab covering my abs like a blanket. I tried several abs machines, but nothing did the trick.
Then I found 2 diet and fitness programs focused on getting abs:

If you're interested in a quick fix or something like that, these 2 programs aren't for you. It took me a long time to achieve my six pack abs. It took a lot of work. If you don't really want to have perfect abs and you're not prepared to put in the effort, this isn't for you.
Both of these programs are great. But you really need just one of them to get a flat stomach. Personally, I prefer Truth About Abs, because it's more fun to read, has more information (especially cardio and nutrition related), and Mike Geary, the creator of Truth About Abs, answers all your questions quickly.

Truth about abs is an expert abs program written by specialized trainer, Mike Geary.
Let me tell you what I liked about this program:
After years in which I tried to get a flat stomach and six pack abs, first by losing all those extra pounds and then by exercise and nutrition, I ran across a lot of bullshit.
There are so many bogus abs products today, promising to work your abs while you sit or sleep, telling you that by working out for mere minutes a day with their gadget, you'll have six pack abs in no time. It's all shameless lies to make money!
Truth about abs, as it's name implies, tells you how to truly get that flat stomach you've been dreaming of, and there is really only one way: Hard work and proper nutrition. What Mike Geary has done is to compile all the knowledge he has acquired as a trainer and nutrition expert into a single ebook complete with the following things:
- 50 exercises along with pictures
- 84 meal plans
- Metabolism secrets
- Nutrition secrets
- And more
In Truth About Abs, Mike Geary shows how to get a uniquely effective complete body workout which will get you harder and flatter abs than all the abs exercises can get you by themselves.
I also like the fact that Mike responds to questions. I sent him a couple of emails myself and he usually replied on the same day.
If you're not prepared to workout, this isn't the plan for you, and I don't believe you'll ever have the stomach you wish for.
But if you are prepared to put in some effort, I truly recommend you give this program a try.

Why Is Truth About Abs Different From Other Abs Programs
I know that this may seem like a bizarre thing, but I believe that this is an advantage which this program possesses: It deals with complete body workouts and a way of life diet guidelines.
You see, the truth is that in order to burn off a lot of belly fat it is better to invest your time in intensive, full body workouts instead of wasting hours doing endless crunches and sit-ups. The rate of belly fat loss will be much higher, and since the stomach acts as a supporting muscle for many exercises of other muscle groups, your abs actually develop when you're working your full body.

There's also a special section for golfers. David Grisaffi is also a golf oriented fitness coach.
Flatten Your Abs is an excellent program and produces results. However, I think this program isn't as good as Truth About Abs because it has less information on Cardio routines, and nutrition.

Things I learned from Truth About Great Abs: Nutrition Tip # 1
Here is nutrition tip #1:
Cut down your alcohol intake.
I'm not saying stop drinking alcohol completely. I enjoy an occasional beer myself, but alcohol contains a lot of sugar and empty calories. If you overdo on alcohol, you will have a hard time getting rid of that layer of flab on your midsection.
Things I learned from Flatten Your Abs: "The Importance Of Full Body Workouts"
One of the biggest mistakes people who wish to have flat abs is that they continue to focus on belly exercise and don't work on their entire body.
In order to have a flat and sexy stomach, you need to cut down on your body fat. If you just work the abs, you will soon reach a plateau. The fact is that the abs play a significant role in exercises which focus on other muscle groups. The belly muscles act as supporting muscles and are in fact working even when you're focusing on other muscles.
So invest in your entire body and your stomach will follow. That doesn't mean that you don't need to do abs exercises, but don't to forget it's not enough.

Things I learned from Truth About Abs: Nutrition Tip #2

But people fail to work them out correctly and don't invest enough in them because much of their development doesn't show on the outside, but is still very important. Flatten Your Abs shows you how to strengthen these core muscles.
Things I learned from Truth About Abs: The Importance Of Interval Cardio Routines
I used to do regular cardio, mainly running, but didn't lose that layer of stubborn belly fat. The reason is that when you do regular cardio your body gets into a routine, your metabolism reaches a certain comfortable level which doesn't burn off that stubborn belly fat.
If you want to flatten your stomach you'd do better by doing interval cardio routines. Doing interval training keeps your heart pumping high and your metabolism racing. This burns off more and more belly fat, including that stubborn layer of flab on your abs.
Invest more time and effort into interval cardio routines. It will work wonders.
Personal Note
The reason why most people fail is that they waste their time on ineffective exercises, and eat a bad diet. If more people knew what I learned from TruthAboutAbs, or Flatten Your Abs, there would be more people with six-packs.
It isn't easy to a flat belly, but it isn't impossible either. It's just a matter of knowing which exerices really burn off that stubborn belly fat and which are just a waste of time. It's also a matter of knowing what you should eat and what you should never eat.
Personally, I believe truth about abs is the better of these 2 programs. If you really want to have banish your belly fat and have a flat stomach try out TruthAboutAbs. It will be worth your while.

- hi..dont worry about what other people say.because the bottom line is what you think of you..do yourself a favour and tell your family it does not matter what they think and at some point they will stop bothering you....only workout if its something that you really want to do for you,not for someone else..

All I can say is that I've worked according to what the Truth About Great Abs teaches and saw excellent results. I've heard from other people similar things.

First, this isn't an ad, it's a review.
Second, neither of the 2 programs I reviewed costs anywhere near $200.
Third, what I was trying to get across is that the way to flat abs is more through the right knowledge than any machine.
You can either do the research yourself or use one of these programs from people who no more than you and I.
