Excellent lens, I am going to come back to this again and again to go further in my Squidoo work. Thanks for the freebies like the amazon button. My Angel Wings are getting tired this morning, but they have to sprinkle a little angel dust over this one because it will really help Squids.

I found this tutorial persuading! I either clicked on, or wanted to click on the targets you set out for the reader to click. This in itself was more telling than anything. And to be honest, I am not someone who likes to click away from a page I find interesting... I't's too easy to get sidetracked and drawn away. This was a short, sweet, and simple demonstration of how to create clickable content! Thank you ... Right now, I am heading back into your lens to click on the things I haven't clicked on yet - First in order 600 + conversion optimization tips - don't wait up, this might take a while!

I need to keep working on my conversions.
I saw something on a bottom of one of the lens I was searching, and I was wondering if it helped the person. What they did was that they said that purchasing something on their lens helped them.

It seemed as though it would.

Could you please tell us, how to insert Chtika code, Thanks for sharing
  • Greekgeek Feb 18, 2011 @ 4:09 pm | delete
Chitika codes are already on Squidoo lenses by default. That's the graphical ads in the right-hand sidebar, plus there's a bank of Chitika ads at the bottom. Except that I've actually turned mine off because that's just more ads than I can take. Silly me! :)

I know what you mean. It's one of the top tips for conversion, and it's certainly a tried and true method in traditional commercials and marketing, but people are savvy to and resistant of psychological manipulation and pressure.

I think I will reword that. It's a delicate tightrope to walk.

Thanks for the tips. I'm planning to work my way through my 300+ lenses working on the module titles, broken links, adding tags, linking the lenses together, and while I'm at it, I'll keep your advice in mind. Whew, I'm worn out just thinking of it.

Extremely helpful! I have good luck with people clicking on my links.. but that's because I've been offering people free things! I need to see if I can apply this practice to get people to click on books and other amazon products.

Hey, you're the pro. Half the time I'm peering at what you and some of the other top-performing lensmasters are doing. ;)
