How To Get Rid Of External Hemorrhoids With Surgery
In most cases of external hemorrhoids, treating and overcoming it mainly involves dietary changes, topical treatments, non-surgical treatments and Sitz baths which will relief the hemorrhoids. However, there are a few cases especially when it involves a greater degree of prolapse when surgery becomes necessary. Here are some surgical choices available to you.

1) Haemorrhoidectomy. Conventional haemorrhoidectomy involves exposing the hemorrhoids using a retractor and surgically removing the hemorrhoidal tissue. The remaining tissue is then sutured and sealed, preventing further hemorrhoids. While this kind of procedure can easily be a day case, most patients are required a 4 to 5 day stay at the hospital, mainly due to poor post-op care and intense pain after the operation.

2) Stapled Hemorrhoidopexy. Also known as Procedure for Prolapse & Hemorrhoids (PPH), this technique uses a circular stapling device to excise the hemorrhoidal tissue. The prolapsed tissue is pulled into the device and removed, while the remaining tissue is stapled. The benefits of PPH over conventional hemorrhoid surgery is less pain, quicker return to normal daily activities and a short hospital stay.
3) Laser Surgery for Hemorrhoids. Using laser light, skilled surgeons are able to target the hemorrhoids with pin point accuracy and precision to remove it completely. This results in less pain and discomfort, less medication and even faster healing. The laser itself seals of nerves and blood vessels, requiring no sutures. Success rate and patient satisfaction is extremely high for this procedure.
But no matter which surgical procedure you are opting for, you need to understand the comlications involved. These include:
a) Severe post-opt pain which can last for 2 to 3 weeks, mainly due to the incisions that were made during operation.
b) Wound infections, though with good post-opt care these are very uncommon.
c) Bleeding, when the sutures rupture.
d) Some incontinence may be experienced due to the discomfort and the fear that bowel movement might open up the wound.
e) Difficulty in urinating. This is very common due to the pain of the incision.

How To Get Rid Of External Hemorrhoids Without Surgery
Among the thousands of recommended treatments and remedies available today, here are three of the most effective non-surgical methods of treating and getting rid of hemorrhoids.
1) Topical treatments. The best topical treatments can be found in a complete system that usually involves consuming supplements as well. One of the most effective topical treatment for hemorrhoids today is the Venapro Hemorrhoids Treatment. The treatment comes as a pack of two items, a homeopathic formula for topical use to decrease burn and itch and a natural supplement that supports overall colon health. Made entirely from all natural such as including Witch hazel, Horse Chestnut, Arnica, Fluoride of Lime, St. Mary's Thistle just to name a few, these have almost no side effects other than giving you immediate and long term relief to your pain. It comes with a 90 day money back guarantee, so it is safe to give it a try.
2. Rubber band Ligation. Also known as Hemorrhoid Banding, this is a procedure whereby the hemorrhoid is tied off at its base, cutting off blood supply to the tissue and eventually causing the hemorrhoidal tissue to wither and fall away. This is a widely used treatment and is usually done without any need for a hospital stay. However, just like surgery care needs to be taken after the procedure to control the pain and prevent recurrance.
3. Sclerotherapy. This procedure involves injecting a chemical that block blood flow to the hemorrhoidal tissue and is usually used to treat small hemorrhoids. The chemical causes the vein in the tissue to harden and eventually wither and fall off. A little bleeding happens once the hemorrhoids has fallen off and usually last for a week or two but with proper care it is no cause for worry.

- get rid hemorrhoids home..my wife and i suffered from this condition over the years. it would reoccur on several occasions. the best remedy for us was to get rid hemorrhoids home. a 48 hour method that proved very useful and successful
these days it is nearly impossible to find a solution that works so thank God for this one. on many nights our sleep was disrupted because of this horrible unconscionable situation. over and over we asked ourselves what we should do. and we could not come up with any viable option. after we stumbled across this forty eight hour remedy, we havent looked back since. it is my wife, margie, and my mission now to assist those with the same conditon. it is entitled thrombosed external hemorrhoid bleeding. it is painful and very uncomfortable. this is caused an inflammation in that particular area that gets infected. from there the infection continues to grow and develop. as it persists it spreads deeper into your cavity. well after we tried everything on the market we tried the 48 hour cure and we never never looked back. my only regret was not finding this solution earlier. what in the world were we thinking. well now we are completely fine and enjoy all the comforts of life like we should have years ago. we no longer young folks so every bit of comfort we get afforded goes a long way. we thank you for your time and wish the best for you.

- I'm pretty sure I have an external hemorrhoid, idk how I got it, the only thing I've been doing differently is working out for the past month, and that supposedly helps prevent them.
It's not that painful, but I still want to get rid of it. Just to be sure though, from what i understand, the at home procedures only relieve the symptoms, not get rid of them?
