Flea and Tick Prevention

After great trial, It is my opinion that the best way to deal with fleas is by using preventative medicines. I have had to fight with fleas in the house, and they are not easy to get rid of. Some fleas can cause tapeworm if ingested.

There are flea preventatives that also prevent against mites, mosquitoes, ticks, flies and lice.

Try bathing and having your dog dipped occasionally at your vet or a groomers to rid him of fleas as well. The best fleas are no fleas!

Here are some suggestions for flea preventative medications. As always, check with your veterinarian for advice on the best flea preventative medication for your dog. Remember to give your dog his flea medication year round.
